With Disney releasing a brand new trailer for their next blockbuster of the upcoming Moana 2 film, LEGO has officially revealed their merchandise to tie into the second instalment of Moana's adventures. A total of two sets will be released on the 1st of January 2025 branded under Moana 2 - 43260 Moana's Island Fun and 43270 Moana’s Adventure Canoe which were both leaked online just over a week ago.
However, today's official presentation has given us a better glimpse of the Disney Princess-themed models that include highly detailed, play-heavy builds with new and exclusive minidolls and microdolls.
43260 Moana's Island Fun
The first of these two LEGO Disney models is 43260 Moana's Island Fun which retails for $19.99 / €19.99 / £17.99 and includes 175 pieces. Unlike the next set of 43270, Moana's Island Fun doesn't directly tie into a scene from the movie and instead creates a brick-built Moana-themed microworld. This is complete with two microdolls of Moana and little sister Simea along with Pua the pig.
The microworld set includes two main builds that are connected via hinge connections and can therefore easily be closed and reopened. One build is Moana's home island and village whilst the other build is a much more exotic landscape of the island of Motunui. The island of Motunui has a waterfall slide with a hidden entrance and Moana's house has rooms for both her and her little sister Simea.

43270 Moana’s Adventure Canoe
43270 Moana’s Adventure Canoe is likely to be the more popular of the two LEGO Moana 2 models even if it is more expensive at $59.99 / €59.99 / £54.99 for a total of 529 pieces. All three minidolls included in 43270 are exclusive with an updated version of Moana, Loto the shipbuilder and Moni the oarsman. Pua is also included in 43270 just like in 43260 in that exact same pig model.
As the name suggests, the main build and only build of the set is Moana’s Adventure Canoe which LEGO has tackled in previous years but 2025s version is the biggest and best yet. The highly detailed double-hulled canoe features a printed textile sail, a rope lei hulu to find the wind direction and a small campfire. The canoe also has a removable top deck with a fairly spacious living space below allowing our three minidolls and pig space to sleep on and below deck.
