LEGO's newest licensed theme is continuing into 2024 with a banger as at least two more LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog sets will release on 1st January 2024. Once again, unlike the LEGO Super Mario theme, these sets will be Minifigure scale and based on the idea of combining sets to create the ultimate Sonic level. This will likely be further helped with more launcher builds and more balls for Sonic to zoom around in.
The two sets releasing on 1st January 2024 for the LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog theme come under the set numbers 76995 and 76996. Both are cheaper sets for the theme with 76995 retailing for $20.99 with 196 pieces and 76996 retailing for $34.99 with 276 pieces. Hopefully, for those prices, we might finally see the likes of Knuckles and Shadow in LEGO form along with more creative and evil brick-built enemies.
