3 More LEGO Ideas Set Rumoured For 2023 | Hocus Pocus, Insects + Viking Village

After an action-packed 2022 for the LEGO Ideas theme, 2023 is set to carry on that trend as another three sets have been rumoured for the theme. All of these three will release in the second half of the year making the total amount of LEGO Ideas sets releasing in 2023 at six. Our first set of the year was only revealed last week of 21338 A-Frame Cabin so expect the year to just get better and better from here.

But the first of these releasing in the second half of next year is 21341 Hocus Pocus: The Sanderson Sister Cottage. This is another licensed set but this time it's more of a horror-based set which is fairly rare with LEGO sets nowadays. The set is based on the first Hocus Pocus film which released in 1993 but with the second film having released last year, it's likely interest in this set will be high once it releases on 1st July 2023.

Then a fairly recent idea of 21342 LEGO Insects will release on 1st September 2023 with it being the smallest of the three sets. We expect it to retail for $100 but the piece count is confirmed to be 1,111. The colourful collection of insects will most likely include a honey bee, a praying mantis, a butterfly and two beetles all at a reasonable brick-built scale.

And finally, 21343 Viking Village will round off the year by bringing back memories of the old LEGO Viking theme. The set is the winner of the rejected Target collaboration which Viking Village won and has created much hype for the sixth LEGO Ideas set of the year. A quick turnaround will take place for this set as it will release on 1st October 2023 with 2,103 pieces
