Compared to March, April has only a small number of brand new LEGO sets releasing but some of these sets are costly and come with Gift With Purchases that are likely to be highly sought after. April is also the month of Easter, and even though celebrations started early with 40764 Easter Bunny Surprise, the promotional item is still available for the first two days of April, and we wouldn't be surprised if an Easter themed polybag also appeared later this coming month.
This year's highly anticipated LEGO Lord of the Rings model of 10354 The Lord of the Rings: The Shire releases on the 2nd of April 2025 and will once again be launching with an exclusive GWP. Last year's LOTR GWP of 40693 Fell-Beast sold out in less than 24 hours, and 40761 The Lord of the Rings: Sméagol & Déagol will be just as popular, especially with the inclusion of exclusive Minifigures Sméagol and Déagol.
Another promotional set tied to a brand new release is 5009157 Amelia Ticket Booth. The 10+ model will be available with the third and currently most expensive LEGO Ideas model of 2025 so far, 21356 River Steamboat. Just like the LOTR GWP, 5009157 will be available for about a week, both in stores and online at LEGO shop@home, while stocks last.
The second half of April currently remains empty, but we can expect another GWP during this time period before the Star Wars Day celebrations begin at the start of May. But for the fourth month of the year, here's what we know so far for April 2025's full selection of GWPs:
40761 The Lord of the Rings: Sméagol & Déagol
40761 The Lord of the Rings: Sméagol & Déagol is 10354 The Lord of the Rings: The Shire corresponding GWP and will only be available with purchases of 10354 from the 2nd to the 8th of April 2025. 40761 and its 181 pieces, adds two more exclusive Minfigures to the ever-expanding Lord of the Rings lineup of Sméagol and Déagol. The two cousins include exclusive facial prints with alternative expressions along with duel-moulded short legs.
The build itself is a small diorama scene depicting the two hobbits fishing in the River Anduin in their boat. The 18+ model is a two-story construction with the top including a small island and tree along with the River Anduin itself and a small fishing boat for Déagol. Meanwhile, the lower part of the build is much darker in colour scheme and is the location where Sméagol discovers the One Ring, which is included in the promotional set.

The 10+ model is a cute little accompanying build to the massive River steamboat Ferry, continuing in that micro/midi scale. The promotional item will be available from the 7th to the 13th of April 2025 or while stocks last.

40763 Children's Day Teddy Bear
Our final promotional item on this list is this year's LEGO set celebrating International Children's Day. Even though the international celebrations take place on the 18th of May 2025, many countries and regions around the world celebrate Children's Day on different dates throughout the year. But current rumours suggest that this promotional item will be available at some point this month...
40763 Children's Day Teddy Bear recreates a fully posable Teddy Bear coloured tan with some hints of white on its legs. A range of brick-built accessories are included alongside the bear, including some loose LEGO bricks, a book, a blue bow tie, pencils and paper, another bow tie (this time coloured pink) and a beautiful rose. Some square black glasses can also be placed on the bear's cute face
