After another action-packed year of LEGO City in 2022, the next wave of LEGO City sets have been officially revealed by LEGO for 2023. All these sets will be releasing on 1st January 2023 with another LEGO City Stuntz wave coming in March 2023. In this post, we'll be taking a look at all the sets that have been released for the theme including the two LEGO Stuntz bikes we looked at yesterday.
In January 2023, there's a wide range of vehicles and buildings from Fire Boats to getaway cars, and police bikes to training academies. This is especially the case in 60372 Police Training Academy which includes a range of obstacle courses for trainee police Minifigures to have a go at. And dogs can also be trained to become a part of the police force with 60369 Mobile Police Dog Training.
However, probably one of the most LEGO City sets ever has to be 60371 Emergency Vehicles HQ which will retail for $69.99. The set includes vehicles for fire, police and hospital with road plates included along with a small building for all three services. This fits perfectly with many other vehicles and sets included in this wave.
Other vehicles away from fire and police include Tractors, Sports Cars, Off-Roaders and even a Slushy Van. The latter in particular is a very creative and fun set as it'll be our first time getting a slushy van. Another first is 60388 Gaming Tournament Truck which will retail for $39.99. This allows for an on-the-go place to play video games with a controller trophy included for the winning Minifigure.
Finally, the most expensive LEGO City Great Vehicle set of the wave is 60389 Custom Car Garage which will retail for $59.99. This is a rare LEGO City build in this post that includes more than a vehicle as there's a small area to redesign and service cars. Two funky-coloured cars are included to allow the fairly big Minifigure selection to do this
