As April comes to an end, summer is fast approaching — and with it, LEGO is preparing to launch over 100 new sets across a wide range of themes and licenses. Among the most highly anticipated releases is set 10351, arriving on the 1st of June 2025, which marks both the debut of the LEGO Book Nook collection and the first-ever appearance of Sherlock Holmes in brick-built form.
10351 Sherlock Holmes Book Nook is the latest 18+ edition to the LEGO Icons theme and will be one of three Book Nooks releasing on the 1st of June 2025. In this article, we'll be discussing everything you need to know about the first-ever LEGO Sherlock Holmes set ahead of its confirmed presentation on Tuesday, the 29th of April 2025.
The Important Details
As we've already vaguely mentioned, 10351 will be one of three brand-new LEGO Book Nook sets and the second to be released under the LEGO Icons brand. The other launch in June for the theme is 10367 Lord Of The Rings Booknook: Gandalf VS. Durin's Bane, which recreates the legendary confrontation between Gandalf the Grey and Durin's Bane, the Balrog on the Bridge of Khazad-dûm.
Rather than a specific scene, 10351 Sherlock Holmes Book Nook recreates the iconic Baker Street located in London, and in particular, the fictional detective's very own home of 221B. The 18+ model includes a total of 1,359 pieces, retailing for the same price as 10367 at $119.99 / €119.99 / £104.99. Once it releases on the 1st of June 2025, the LEGO Icons model will be exclusive to both LEGO stores and LEGO shop@home, and Barnes & Noble.
Book Nooks
Booknooks are custom displays designed to fit on a bookshelf between novels, depicting everything from a miniature world to a scene based on a popular story. This new line of sets will offer a unique way to display iconic brick-built scenes from beloved stories, whilst also having a purpose-built use for your ever-expanding bookshelf.
Three LEGO Book Nooks are launching on the 1st of June 2025 to kick off this brand new collection targeted at adults and more advanced builders. These three, all based on pre-existing novels, are 10367 Lord Of The Rings Booknook: Gandalf VS. Durin's Bane, 6450 Hogwarts Express Book Nook and the focus of today's article, 10351 Sherlock Holmes Book Nook. Each model can be built to resemble a book but can also be displayed as a brick-built facade, similar to previous LEGO 18+ dioramas.
The Build
10351 Sherlock Holmes Book Nook can be built in two different ways. The first resembles an actual book, with the cover of the brick-built book containing a black mosaic of Sherlock Holmes' outline with a magnifying glass. The middle of the book, where we'd usually see hundreds of pages, is where the actual brick-built Baker Street scene is located. Elements of the scene and street can be seen exploring the outer edges of the book cover, with two Victorian-style lamp posts and a printed grey Baker Street sign.
Having the set built the alternative way with both sides of the street facing each other, operating as a facade and 18+ diorama, allows a more detailed perspective of the LEGO Baker Street. Here we see the legendary home of Holmes and Dr. Watson, along with a couple more houses covered in Victorian architecture. There are more vintage lamp posts and a cobblestone street, similar to the designs from Harry Potter's brick-built Diagon Alley.
The line of buildings, coloured mainly brown, grey and brick orange, each include two floors, even though most of the detail and architecture can only be accessed from the exterior. Some reports suggest that some minor details and Easter eggs will be seen in brick-built form behind some of the large windows included with the buildings. They may also be accessible further by opening up the three doors also included along Baker Street.
Minifigure Lineup
The brick-built cobblestone path down the middle of the Book Nook allows plenty of space for five exclusive Minifigures to be displayed. These Sherlock Holmes-inspired figures included the fictional detective himself, Dr. Watson, Irene Adler, Professor Moriarty and Paige. Each includes exclusive printing on their torso, inspired by the Victorian era, and a range of appropriately themed accessories.
