It's now less than a month until Star Wars Day, and that also means it's less than a month until a total of seven new LEGO Star Wars sets hit the shelves in order to celebrate the annual commemorative day of the ever-popular Star Wars Franchise. Among these seven sets is the latest annual Star Wars Day D2C, which also happens to be our first of two releasing in 2025.
75409 is the set number belonging to this brand new 18+ LEGO Star Wars model, which recreates a large Ultimate Collectors Edition version of Jango Fett's Starship. In this article, we'll be discussing everything you need to know about the latest LEGO set in a galaxy far, far away ahead of its presentation next week on the 15th of April 2025...
The Important Details

As we've already vaguely mentioned, 75409 is the latest addition to the Ultimate Collector Series, recreating Jango Fett's Starship at an incredibly large and detailed scale. The 18+ model remake's the Slave 1 and its dark blue and grey design from Episode II: Attack of the Clones. This makes it the first prequal set based LEGO Slave I in over twenty years, with our last brick-built Slave I being 2015s 75060 Slave I, based on Episode 5.
2025s 75409 Jango Fett's Starship will be substantially bigger than any of the previous Slave I models, with a total of 2,970 pieces included, retailing for $299.99 / €299.99 / £249.99. Along with six other LEGO Star Wars-themed models, 75409 will be available from the 1st of May 2025 exclusively from LEGO stores and LEGO shop@home.
Exterior Build
With almost 3,000 pieces included, it is no surprise that 75409 is an extremely detailed and display-worthy brick-built version of the Slave I. Compared to previous versions, 2025s offers a much sleeker and polished design that replicates its in-movie look during Attack of the Clones. The mainly dark blue and grey design is translated in a slightly different way in this brick-built form with plenty of hints of white and green also included.
From the outside, one of the many features of the set is a brand new cockpit window of Jango Fett's starship. The element is a brand new design which, compared to previous, similar pieces, is two studs longer and has a slightly different curvature. Mixed in with all the detailed architecture of the starship, however, it is the perfect piece and allows a glimpse into the ship's interior and cockpit.
The 18+ model, along with its striking design, also includes a couple of play features and movement. The wings of the starship are rotatable, allowing 75409 to be displayed in both flight and landing modes. The ship is also equipped with functional stud shooters and concealed blasters to recreate some of the iconic scenes from Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones.
Interior Build

As we've already mentioned, the new cockpit window piece can be easily attached and reattached, allowing access to the Minifigure-friendly cockpit. They'll also be access to the ship's interior via the rear of the ship and in particular through the loading bay.
Unfortunately, not many details are known about what will be included in the ship's brick-built interior, but with almost 3,000 pieces included in the 18+ model, we can expect at least some access to the inside of the ship. However, 75409 is a display piece first and a playset second, so don't expect loads of access to the ship's interior apart from the obvious two: the cockpit and the loading bay.
Side Builds
LEGO 18+ models have become extremely common in recent years, and therefore, we know that 75409 Jango Fett's Starship will come with a black display stand. This allows you to very easily display the starship however you wish, both in that landing and flight mode. The display stand includes the customary printed information plaque, a place for the two Minifigures included in the 2025 set and a small, brick-built seismic charge from the ship.
Minifigure Lineup
The latest LEGO Star Wars UCS model isn't complete without two exclusive Minifigures. These are, unsurprisingly, Jango Fett with detailed arm and leg printing, featuring his Mandalorian armour and helmet, and his son, young Boba Fett, who comes with small legs. Jango Fett's new helmet also includes a completely new viewfinder mould, which will likely be seen in future LEGO Star Wars sets.
Gift With Purchase

Once 75409 Jango Fett's Starship releases on the 1st of May 2025, an exclusive Gift With Purchase will also be available alongside the 18+ model. This GWP, in particular, is 40765 Kaminoan Enforcer Ship, which will be available with any LEGO Star Wars purchases over a $160 threshold around Star Wars Day.
The promotional item recreates the obscure KE-8 Enforcer Ship, which first appears in the backdrop of Episode II: Attack of the Clones. A total of 190 pieces are used to recreate the compact but well-structured grey ship, which includes space for a single Minifigure. However, a total of three figures are included in 40765, which are all in red uniform Clone Trooper outfits with exclusive torso printing.
So that's everything you need to know about 75409 Jango Fett's Starship, but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 75409 in a couple of weeks time?
