The next wave of LEGO Minecraft sets are right around the corner, but whilst we wait for official images of six brand new gaming-themed sets, LEGO Minecraft Visual Dictionary has been presented with a scheduled release in October. Many themes, such as LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Marvel, have seen these Visual Dictionaries release in the past, and LEGO Minecraft's version is just as exciting and as detailed, with an exclusive Minifigure included and our first leaked look at one of those six Summer 2025 sets...
In particular, we have our first look at 21277 The Pickaxe Mine, which includes a total of 530 pieces retailing for $54.99 / €54.99 / £49.99. As was speculated, the June 2025 set is very similar in build and idea to the now-retired 21244 The Sword Outpost. The time, however, the 8+ model recreates a brick-built version of an enchanted Pickaxe located within a small mine inside the snowy mountainside.

The Pickaxe Mine is full of valuable brick-built ores to collect and transport for processing on the working minecart railway surrounding the large pickaxe build. The working minecart can also be loaded with TNT, including a function for it to burst through the snowy mountainside. Further features of the 2025 set include a chest, a stonecutter, a printed map, and a lantern suspended with chains.
A total of two Minifigures are included along with a polar bear mob, which makes only its second LEGO Minecraft appearance. Alex and her golden sword are one of the two Minifigures, along with an exclusive skin known as the Prospector.
