Today marks a brand new day, a brand new month and a brand new year with plenty of LEGO action to look forward to over the next 365 days. To kick off the brand new year, the Danish toy manufacturers are releasing over 100 brand new sets today, from homegrown themes such as Friends and City to the more complex brands such as Technic and Icons. There really is something for everyone starting from the 1st of January 2025.
One of the highlights of every year is the brand new LEGO Modular Building with 2025s being 10350 Tudor Corner. The new corner building has been beautifully designed and will be releasing alongside 40757 Corner Kiosk. The LEGO Icons promotional model is one of five GWPs reportedly releasing throughout January 2025 which we cover in this article.
January will not only be very busy for new set releases but also for Gift With Purchases as LEGO aims to start the brand new year in style, but here's what we know so far for January 2025's full selection of GWPs:
40757 Corner Kiosk
As we've already mentioned, 40757 is this years LEGO Modular Building GWP, available between the 1st and 7th of January but only with purchases of 10350 Tudor Corner. The set itself is a small kiosk stand coloured in blue and dark tan. Plenty of printed 2x2 tiles are included of a range of newspapers, magazines and postcards along with a newspaper stand and a gumball machine. Two Minifigures are also included in the 205 piece model.

40756 Lucky Knots
40756 Lucky Knots is another GWP which will be available between the 1st and 7th of January but this time with any purchases over $150. The Lunar New Year model includes two identical brick-built Lucky Knots with their only difference being Chinese print in the middle of the build. The decorations, beautifully coloured red and gold, symbolise good fortune, health and wealth in Chinese culture and also include a built-in hanging feature.

40707 Year of the Snake
From one Chinese New Year set to another, 40707 will likely be the main and most sought-after GWP this month as it celebrates the Year of the Snake. However, we currently don't know exactly when it will be available or at what threshold. Either way, the brick-built green snake with the usual 2x2 printed eyes will be very popular and therefore sell out pretty quickly once we are able to pick it up later this month.

30688 Tropical Toucan
Compared to the previous GWPs, 30688 Tropical Toucan has a much lower threshold at only $40 but will only be available with purchases of LEGO City, Creator 3in1, Friends and DREAMZzz. The Creator 3in1 Polybag will also be available for a slightly longer period from the 1st to the 13th of January 2025. The set includes a cute Tropical Toucan with a flower with a fish swimming among corals and a simple brick-built penguin being the two alternative builds.

40758 Celebration: Ferris Wheel With Fireworks
A set that is perfect for the New Year is 40758 Celebration: Ferris Wheel With Fireworks. Unfortunately, 40758 won't be available until the second half of January for a currently unknown threshold. The 8+ model includes no Minifigures but instead a nicely built colourful Ferris Wheel. The Ferris Wheel is in microscale including the spinning wheel itself, plenty of scenery and a small ticket office.

40780 Birthday Cake
Another mysterious yet exciting GWP is our final promotional item releasing in January 2025 of 40780 Birthday Cake. The 7+ model has no confirmed release window or threshold but is expected to be available near the end of the month or possibly in February. With 160 pieces, 40780 is literally a colourful brick-built cake complete with colourful icing and sprinkles. A single Minifigure and Minifigures scale cake is also included.
