The LEGO and Nintendo partnership is well and truly underway as LEGO Animal Crossing has been confirmed for 2024. Rumours had been circling for a couple of months now but both LEGO and Nintendo took to social media today to confirm the new theme coming with a whole wave of brand new sets. These five brand new sets will be releasing on 1st March 2024 and as the video shows, these will be Minifigure scale sets.
And the LEGO Animal Animal Crossing Minifigures which could be seen in the video and are almost definitely confirmed to be coming next year include an array of villagers, Isabelle, Tom Nook and Kapp’n. From left to right in the picture below, the characters are Rosie, Bunnie, Marshal, Kapp’n, Fauna, Julian, Isabelle and Tom Nook. All of them include brand-new moulded heads on classic Minifigure torsos and legs.
The five LEGO Animal Crossing sets releasing on 1st March 2024 seem to spread across a range of prices but are still fairly accessible. The most expensive of these is 77050 which for only 535 pieces will retail for $74.99. Luckily the other four remaining sets have much better price-per-piece ratios such as 77046 with 170 pieces for $14.99 and 77049 with 389 pieces for $39.99.
Apart from these five sets ranging from 77046 to 77050 and their respective prices and pieces, not much more information is known about LEGO's newest theme. Today's confirmation and tease for the theme is the closest we'll probably get to finding out more about each of the five sets until the official reveal. And when this will happen is still completely unknown but LEGO are rapidly building the hype for this new theme...
