Chinese New Year is one of the biggest celebrations of the year with LEGO releasing another two sets for 2024s celebrations. These two sets have been officially revealed today at the China International Import Expo and in this article, we'll be looking at 80113 Family Reunion Celebration. The 2024 Chinese New Year set is the cheaper of the two releasing on 1st January 2024 with it retailing for $129.99.
For that $130 price tag and 1,823 piece count, 80113 is the Minifigure heavy set of the wave. A total of 13 LEGO Minifigures are included in the set including 2 parents, 2 children, 2 grandparents, a tourist, a couple, a chef, 2 waiters and a figure in a Year of the Dragon costume. They all come together to celebrate Chinese New Year in this Chinese Restaurant with some beautiful building techniques used to create this Chinese architecture.
On the bottom floor of the Chinese Restaurant, there's the kitchen for the chef and waiters to work in along with the front desk. Stairs on the bottom floor lead up to the second floor where the large family reunion takes place. A large round table is covered with Chinese food and plenty of chairs are included for the whole family. A toilet is located next to this dining area with a small roof top dining area also included for the couple.
