A brand new year is still many months away but we already have our first rumours about LEGOs celebrations for one of the biggest events of the year. Chinese New Year is celebrated across the globe with rumours suggesting three brick-built models will be coming for 2025s celebrations. One of these is a brand new Gift With Purchase running throughout January 2025 of 40707 Year Of The Snake.
The threshold however and the exact amount of time during the month of January is unknown, but similar to previous years 40707 will likely be available with any LEGO purchases. The Chinese New Year set may also be available from either the 26th or 27th of December 2024 in China and other certain countries in Asia.
Also similar to last year's/this year's 40611 Year of the Dragon, the 174-piece set is a brick-built version of a colourful Chinese culture Snake for the Year of the Snake. LEGO have continued with this tradition for many years now and it has been extremely popular. The Snake, which we're guessing will most likely be a dark green colour, will include the usual printed 2x2 round tiles for the eyes along with a small environment build to be displayed on.
