Reveal season is so close but we're still in leak season at the moment as our fourth LEGO City set for 2024 has leaked online today. In particular, this is our second LEGO City Space leak after 60433 Modular Space Station leaked just over a week ago thanks to a Chinese LEGO page and found by Brick Clicker on YouTube. However, we now have our first look at 60431 Space Exploration Rover and Alien Life.
The 2024 LEGO City set is fairly priced at $39.99 for 311 pieces. A lot of these pieces are used to build the Space Exploration Rover which includes a total of six big wheels to help its movement on rocky surfaces. These attach using a mix of technic pieces and normal LEGO pieces to the white body of the rover. Like the wheels, this section of the rover also uses some bigger, moulded pieces explaining why the retail price is at $39.99.
The rover has a small interior/cockpit with space for one Minifigure, controls and a steering wheel for the rover. Other space exploration accessories are also included at the rear of the rover. These can be used to explore the small side build of the set which is a section of a mysterious, unexplored planet. Here, there's another astronaut Minifigure along with two brick-built green aliens.
