A third and final wave of LEGO Creator 3in1 sets has been officially revealed, amongst many sets, in preparation for its release on the 1st of June 2024. January 2024 saw a range of brick-built models from animals and mystical creatures to real-life objects such as cameras and roller skates. This was then followed by only two sets in March of 31154 Forest Animals: Red Fox and 31158 Sea Animals.
June's wave of LEGO Creator 3in1 models unfortunately follows the same trend with only two brand new sets being released. These are 31151 T.rex and 31153 Modern House which we now have official images of. The latter of these we'll be covering in today's article of 31153 Modern House which will retail for $99.99 with a total of 939 pieces.
Those 939 pieces at that $100 price point makes 31153 easily the biggest and most expensive LEGO Creator 3in1 set of 2024, surpassing January's 31150 Wild Safari Animals which included 780 pieces for $64.99. 31153 Modern House is also the first Minifigure scale LEGO Creator 3in1 model of 2024 with January and March featuring only brick-built models.
It's been a trend in recent years to see the Summer wave of LEGO Creator 3in1 heavily focus on Minifigures so it's no surprise that 31153 is a brick-built version of a Modern House perfect for our favourite yellow people. Sadly, only a female and a male Minifigure are included in 31153 but they both include swappable outfits and any spare Minifigures you have at home will fit perfectly with this $100 Summer set.
The main and only build of the set is unsurprisingly the luxurious modern house, stretching over two floors and being located right next to the beach. This can be seen by a small patch of sand next to the blue of the sea and two sunloungers outside of the house. Two palm trees and a swimming pool also make up more of the exterior details. But inside there's even more fun with a kitchen, living room, reading room, bedroom, shower room, balcony and modern furnishings including an armchair and chandelier.
Of course, like every LEGO Creator 3in1 model, two more alternative builds are included along with the main build for that $999.99 price tag. These two builds are further house models, perfect for a luxury stay away. 31153 includes both a stylish 3-story city building with a hot tub room and rooftop terrace, and a singular-floor forest cabin, complete with two tall green-leaved forest trees.
