LEGO Creator 40700 Winter Holiday Train GWP Officially Revealed | 23rd November 2024

Arguably one of the biggest weeks of LEGO's calendar had begun as LEGO Insiders Weekend is just days away. Alongside Black Friday exactly a week later, the LEGO Insiders Weekend is the time to buy as much LEGO as possible with double Insiders points, plenty of discounts and offers on a range of sets and exclusive Gift With Purchases.

One of these exclusive Gift With Purchases is 40700 Winter Holiday Train which will be bringing the festive fun to LEGO's big weekend in 2024. The LEGO Creator branded model includes a total of 294 pieces and will be available with any purchases over $170. 40700 will not only be available for this threshold during LEGO Insiders Weekend of the 23rd and the 24th of November but also Black Friday Weekend which starts on the 29th of November.

40700 Winter Holiday Train is unsurprisingly a brick-built festive train somewhat similar to the 2015 Christmas GWP of 40318 Christmas Train. 2025s Winter Holiday Train is built in a similar scale but slightly larger with a mighty steam locomotive delivering presents to the Minifigures of LEGO City.

The steam locomotive along with its two carriages are mainly green with hints of gold and red wheels. The train, being the same scale as 40318, does not fit on stand LEGO train tracks but still measures over 3 inches (8 cm) high, 5 inches (15 cm) long and 1.5 inches (4 cm) wide. As already mentioned, the Winter Holiday Train comes carrying plenty of presents that can be stacked on top of each other along with a simple spinable Christmas tree.
