In a few days time, we see the start of a brand new month and the debut of three brand new LEGO themes: LEGO Fortnite, Wednesday and Wicked. The former of these is another gaming franchise to add to LEGO's ever-expanding portfolio and to celebrate the release of the theme and four new LEGO Fortnite sets, a LEGO Fortnite Gift With Purchase will also be available from the 1st of October 2024.
In particular, this is in fact a brand new single LEGO BrickHeadz model of 40728 Brite Bomber. The 151-piece set will be available from the start of October and will most likely last a week or two. However, the 10+ model will only be available with purchases of LEGO Fortnite sets over $100.
As the name suggests, 40728 is a brick-built version of Brite Bomber - the pink-haired avatar who has long been the face of Fortnite and in that regard LEGO Fortnite too. Brite Bomber has already appeared as a LEGO Minifigure in the upcoming 77073 Battle Bus. She basically appears in the same format in 40728 but as a much larger brick-built figure, along with a shiny silver pickaxe accessory on the usual small black BrickHeadz stand.
