A residential townhouse, an Airbnb and a fish and chip shop - the 2025 LEGO Modular Building has been rumoured to be many different things but with less than a month until its release LEGO has finally officially revealed the LEGO Icons model. The presentation confirms that 2025's LEGO Modular Building is 10350 Tudor Corner which releases on the 1st of January 2025 with 3,266 pieces retailing for $229.99 / €229.99 / £199.99.
This year saw the release biggest LEGO Modular Building yet of 10326 Natural History which became the subthemes flagship model. 2025's LEGO Modular Building will be nowhere near as big as 10326 with over 800 pieces less and a brick-built building that covers just one baseplate rather than two. However, 10350 Tudor Corner still comes in at the third largest LEGO Modular Building which can be seen by its intricate design and details as it celebrates being the 20th LEGO Icons Modular Building.
The build itself of the Tudor Corner incorporates many iconic elements of Tudor architecture but in a modern brick-built form. The latest corner Modular Building incorporates hallmark Tudor elements, such as timber framing, sloped roofs, and detailed brickwork. Rich earth-tone colours and textured elements give it an authentic, historic feel along with multiple large chimneys which were very common during this time period.
As we've already mentioned, 10350 was originally rumoured to be a residential townhouse, an Airbnb and a fish and chip shop at various points over the last few months. All three ideas have been incorporated into one with the bottom floor of the LEGO Modular Building being a pub entitled 'the Old Guarded Inn'. Like most of the set, the architecture feels very medieval with a dark green colour scheme for the Inn along with some nicely coloured plants.
In front of the Inn are two seats and a small table for some of the seven Minifigures in 10350 to enjoy a drink or two. Prints for the Tudor-like sign for the Inn along with its menu and today's special of fish and chips are also included. Next door to the Old Guarded Inn is a smaller but slightly more modern building of a haberdasher’s adorned with hats and umbrellas. This shop also includes another printed sign along with a glass door and light blue, modern architecture.
Stairs located next to the Inn lead up to the residential section of the building and more of that lovely Tudor-like design. Like every LEGO Modular Building, 10350 Tudor Corner stretches across three floors and therefore the first and second floors are both dedicated to residential spaces and packed full of details. These spaces include a clockmaker’s workshop with bedside and grandfather clocks and a snug attic flat which seems to be very friendly to cats and pets alike.
And to complete the $230 set we have a total of eight Minifigures. One of these is in fact a mannequin but the other figures include the likes of a cook, a chimney sweep, an innkeeper and a watchmaker. A bike is also included for one of the residents to transport her beloved cats around LEGO city. All of this and more make for another beautifully designed Modular Building which hits shelves in less than a months time.
