Ever since the launch of 10333 The Lord Of The Rings: Barad-Dûr last summer, everyone has been wondering whether LEGO will continue with its very recent tradition of releasing a brand new LEGO Icons Lord Of The Rings set each year. This first started with 10316 The Lord Of The Rings: Rivendell and obviously continued with a brick-built version of Sauron's fortress in Mordor.
And we can now finally confirm that we will indeed be getting another LEGO Lord Of The Rings D2C in 2025. In fact, we'll be getting not one but two LEGO Lord Of The Rings sets this year, both releasing under the Icons theme but slightly smaller than the previous two sets of 10316 The Lord Of The Rings: Rivendell and 10333 The Lord Of The Rings: Barad-Dûr. These 2025 LOTR sets are 10354 The Lord Of The Rings: Bag End and 10367 Booknook: Gandalf VS. Durin's Bane.
In today's article, we're focusing on the main Lord Of The Rings model in 2025 of 10354 The Lord Of The Rings: Bag End. The last LEGO set to tackle the iconic hobbit cave and therefore tackle part of the Shire was 2012s 79003 An Unexpected Gathering. 2025's model includes over 1,300 pieces more with a total of 2,017 elements included in the recreation of the underground dwelling of the Hobbits Bilbo and Frodo Baggins.
With over 2,00 pieces included, we can expect an extremely detailed version of Bag End featuring the iconic round green door, cosy Hobbit interiors like Bilbo’s study and kitchen, lush gardens, and minifigures like Frodo, Bilbo, and Gandalf. The 18+ model won't include all interior rooms but will focus on the main elements of the cave, recreating many iconic scenes from both the books and the movies.
10354 will obviously continue the Minifigure scale LOTR sets and, even though it's much smaller than the previous LEGO Icons LOTR models, it will still include a decent number of iconic characters. Frodo, Bilbo and the gardener Sam are almost definitely included, but we're also hoping other hobbits such as Merry, Pippin and Rosie also make an appearance once 10354 The Lord Of The Rings: Bag End releases on the 1st of April 2025.
