A new LEGO Icons subtheme is coming in 2025, building on the success of the already existing LEGO Icons Botanical Collection line of sets which has now become a fully-fledged LEGO theme. This new subtheme for the LEGO Icons series is named 'Gardens of the World', inspired by world-famous gardens. Each brick-built garden will be easily recognizable by its unique and distinctive features and climate from the respective country.
The new subtheme sounds and looks very similar to a previous LEGO Icons model of 2023s 10315 Tranquil Garden which recreates a traditional colourful Japanese garden on a black stand. However, in 2025 to kick off this brand new subtheme we'll be travelling to a completely different continent with 10359 Fountain Garden being based on beautiful gardens in Spain. The 18+ model includes 1,302 pieces for a $99.99 / €99.99 / £89.99 retail price once it releases on the 1st of January 2025.
10359 Fountain Garden will beautifully recreate a peaceful Spanish fountain garden complete with Mediterranean architecture, typical of Español gardens. The focal point of the 18+ set is obviously a fountain, surrounded by brick-built plants, hedges, trees and columns. The detailed stone arches included in 10359, with terracotta roof tiles and green elements such as trees and colourful flowers, give the set an authentic southern feel.
The structure is mainly composed of green, white, and earthy tones to create a very warm feeling in the colour scheme. Plenty of prints are also included for extra detailing on the centrepiece fountain. Within all the botanical wildlife there's also a few animals including a bird, a frog and a luna moth. Similar to 2023s 10315 Tranquil Garden, 10359 sits on a display stand, this time coloured in brown with their also being the option to move and change select elements of the 18+ model.
