LEGO Icons 10360 NASA 747 With Space Shuttle Discovery Rumoured For May 2025

2025 may not be the year of LEGO and Space like 2024, but similar to last year, we will get another Direct to Consumer LEGO Icons model branded under the US Government space agency NASA. In particular, this 18+ set is 10360 NASA 747 With Space Shuttle Discovery, which releases in less than two months time on the 15th of May 2025. 10360 is another $200+ LEGO model in 2025 with an exact retail price of $229.99 / €229.99 / £199.99 with 2,417 pieces included.

Unlike the now retired 10283 NASA Space Shuttle Disovery which focused solely on the shuttle and its Hubble Space Telescope payload, this new set takes a different approach. 10360 includes the Boeing 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft alongside a brick-built version of the NASA Space Shuttle Discovery. Both the Carrier Aircraft and NASA Shuttle will be in microscale similar to 2023s 10318 Concorde suggesting a sleek, display oriented design.

The Boeing 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft was a crucial part of NASA’s space shuttle program, used to transport the orbiters back to launch sites after landing. This upcoming LEGO 2025 set is expected to capture that history with detailed but compact builds of both the 747 and Discovery.

The 747 will likely feature retractable landing gear along with the ability to easily connect and reconnect the aircraft to the main Space Shuttle. The Space Shuttle Discovery itself will be smaller than its previous version in 2021 yet still feature plenty of features including moveable elevons and a payload bay that opens and closes. Once again like previous 18+ models and 10318, 2025s 10360 will include a black display stand along with the likely inclusion of a printed information palque.
