Our second LEGO Ideas set has been officially revealed after almost two years in production of the set 21339 BTS Dynamite. The original model was created by JBBrickFanatic and LEGO have just expanded on this by adding further details and references to the K-pop band BTS. The set is based on one of their most famous and popular music videos based on the song Dynamite.
This takes place outside of a disco with giant brick built yellow letters indicating this. Next to the disco there's a record shop and a doughnut shop. The record shop is a rare thing in LEGO form and this one may be small but includes many references to the bands hit singles and albums. Next to the shop there's a palm tree and a small area to play basketball with a basketball hoop attached to the side of the shop.
The doughnut shop is small too but includes a range of doughnut pieces, mugs, food and much more. Theres also a giant brick-built donut on top of the building matching the disco sign. The back of the buildings includes some lights to make it feel like we're on set filming a brand new music video which has never been captured in LEGO form before. A small stage is also included to help recreate the video further.
Finally, one of the most exciting parts of the set has to be its Minifigure selection with a total of seven Minifigure from the band. These are RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook who all include different facial expressions, colourful hair pieces and the classic microphone piece. All of this and more will retail for $99.99 once it releases in a couple of weeks on 1st March 2023.
