New rumours suggest that the LEGO Ideas theme will be having another busy year with two sets rumoured for a 1st January 2024 release. We already covered one of these sets over a month ago of 21345 Polaroid Camera which for $79.99 will be a brick-built LEGO version of the Polaroid OneStep SX-70 camera. But thanks to lego_minecraft_goat on Instagram we also now know that 21346 Your Family Tree will be releasing alongside 21345.
21346 Your Family Tree is the winner of the family-themed LEGO Ideas contest that took place with Target in 2022. This is the second competition of its kind with 21343 Viking Village winning the first vote back in 2021. But 21346 will be a much smaller and niche set, retailing for $79.99 and being centred around family and the unique love that comes with family.
The piece count of 21346 is currently unconfirmed but we expect a fair amount to be included for that price point and to make the beautiful brick-built tree. This will be covered with family portraits that can sit and hang from branches and leaves coloured different shades of red for love. Unlike 21345 Polaroid Camera, we expect 21346 to be Minifigure scale and include quite a few, diverse Minifigures to create a LEGO family.
