With a total of nine sets reportedly releasing throughout the whole of 2025, the LEGO Jurassic World theme continues to go from strength to strength. 2024 saw the theme only release five sets but with a brand new film of Jurassic World Rebirth in July we expect plenty of brand new locations, brick-built dinosaurs and detailed Minifigures.
However, only the summer sets for the Jurassic World theme will be based on the fourth instalment of the Jurassic World franchise. Instead, on the 1st of January 2025, we'll see two brand new Jurassic World models of 76967 and 76969. Both currently have no rumoured set name but with a reasonable price per piece count for both of the Winter 2025 sets who knows what they may be.
Current rumours suggest that the larger of the two models, 76969 which retails for $44.99 with a total of 469 pieces, could be a brand new brick-built Dinosaur Fossil set. This years winter wave saw our first fossil build of 76964 Dinosaur Fossils: T. rex Skull which went down extremely well amongst fans young and old.
Even though 76969 is more expensive by $5, LEGO may continue to expand its range of brick-built objects and dinosaurs for the LEGO Jurassic World theme rather than the previously more expensive moulded dinosaur pieces. This could be especially true as 76967 also has a very reasonable price per piece count retailing for only 317 pieces for $24.99.
