After the leak yesterday of the first ever LEGO Lord of the Rings D2C, another one is now rumoured for a 2024 release of Barad-Dur. This comes after JeanGreyForever took part in a survey where they were asked questions about how much they would pay for upcoming LEGO sets and existing LEGO sets. A LEGO 18+ Lord of the Rings set was included in this list indicating that there's the possibility the set will be coming next year.
The set in particular is a massive build of Barad-Dur, Sauron's fortress in Mordor, with a total of 4000 pieces with an expected price of $400. The set shown in the survey is around 83 cm high, 44cm wide and 36cm deep with the Eye of Sauron taking up most of the set and being visible at the top of the build.
The set will also be Minifigure scale just like 10316 Rivendell. Currently, it's believed the Minifigures of Sauron in full armour, Sam, Frodo with the ring and Orcs will be included. The set will also include dungeons and armouries making it an incredible display set to go alongside the Minifigure scale Rivendell releasing next month.
