It's finally here - the biggest and possibly the best LEGO Marvel set and overall LEGO set of 2023 has been officially revealed. In particular, this is the long-rumoured and anticipated LEGO Marvel 18+ D2C of 76269 Avengers Tower. The Avengers Tower is such a popular MCU location which will appear in its biggest and most complex form once it releases on 24th November 2023 for Black Friday weekend.
Not only does 76269 Avengers Tower retail for a large price tag of $499.99, but it also includes a large number of pieces at 5,201 in total. For that large price and amount of pieces, the tower is unsurprisingly one of the tallest LEGO sets to ever exist measuring 90 cm high and 34 cm wide. Unsurprisingly a massive amount of Minifigures are also included in this 18+ D2C set, mainly based on the Avengers: Age of Ultron movie.
The set includes a whopping 31 minifigures expanding across an impressive cast of heroes and Kevin Feige, the head of Marvel Studios. These are the characters included: Tony Stark, Iron Man MK7, Iron Man MK6, Captain America (X2), Thor, Black Widow, The Wasp, micro-scale Ant-Man, Hawkeye, Wanda Maximoff, Falcon, Vision, War Machine, Pepper Potts, Wong, Nick Fury, Dr. Cho, Dum-E, Erik Selvig, Tony Stark SHIELD Agent, SHIELD Agent (X2), Alexander Pierce, Chitauri (X4), Loki, Ultron, and an updated bigfig Hulk.
But of course, the Minifigures are only a small section of this huge $500 LEGO set. The Avengers Tower itself includes technic pin connections so that it's compatible with other LEGO Marvel modular buildings from previous years such as the Daily Bugle. It also sits on the usual 32x32 LEGO baseplate and has a small pavement section which includes a couple of benches, a lampost and the Battle of New York memorial.
Measuring 35.5 inches (90 cm) tall, the LEGO Avengers Tower includes a range of rooms based in and around the MCU. One side of the building and two panels of the roof can be easily lifted off to allow access and play to all of the rooms and their small details and easter eggs. These include the classic Avengers party scene, the fight between two Captain America's from different timelines and Tony Stark undercover as an agent.
76269 even includes a couple of side builds of a Leviathan, a Quinjet and two Chitauri Chariots to reenact iconic Marvel battles. And for a $499.99 set with 5,201 pieces, there are even more easter eggs and hidden details just waiting to be explored once the set becomes available later this month. In particular, it'll release on 24th November 2023 for Black Friday Weekend where a couple of exciting LEGO GWPs will also be available with 76269

Great set!! Everything is great except Pepper and Wasp having the same head. And no Ant man? You have got to be kidding me. I waited such a long time for this and it's a small disappointment. And for the price I'll pay, I should get every Avenger, not Ant man microfigs. Lego irritates me. But I'm getting it anyway.
Super amazing!! Best set of the year! The minifigures all look great, except Pepper and Wasp, because they have the same head?! And the window on the side is broken, like Lego needs to do that? And where is Ant man?? I also heard that there are a lot of easter eggs. Anyways, I'll get it. And lets all hope there's an Avengers compound next year!
This set is amazing!!! And there are so many minifigures, this is great!! This set will definitely skyrocket after it retires, I promise you! I am getting it, definitely!!! But why no Ant man?
Where is Ant man, Iron Legions, Bruce Bannor, and Stan Lee?? And the window on the side is broken, so, I bet hachiroku24 on youtube will post a video on how to fix it, just like the Daily Bugle. Though there are so many mistakes and errors in the Tower, I'll still get it anyway...maybe. And there better be an Avengers compound next year.
Super awesome! Love everything about it, except that Ant man and Stan Lee aren't in it. And I'm sick of everyone having the same face. Why doesn't Lego make new faces for the figures in a set that costs so much? Although there are so many errors, I'll still get it anyway.
