In just two weeks time the final wave of LEGO Marvel sets for the year will hit shelves but we already have our first rumours about the themes plans for 2025. On the 1st of January 2025, a total of seven sets are reportedly releasing ranging from $14.99 to $99.99. Three LEGO DC Super Heroes sets are also rumoured to be releasing on this day but we'll cover these in a separate article.
Like every LEGO Marvel wave, a couple of brick-built mechs have to be included and this time we have two mech-based models. These are 76307 Iron Man Mech VS Ultron and 76308 Spider-Man Mech VS Anti-Venom which both retail for $14.99 / €14.99 / £12.99.
Obviously, 76307 includes a mech for Iron Man making it the third-ever LEGO Marvel mech based on the superhero. He's included as a Minifigure along with the returning Ultron. Meanwhile, 76308 includes a new mech for Spider-Man. Like Iron Man, the superhero has already had a brick-built mech in the past but this one will include our first-ever Minifigure of the antihero Anti-Venom.
Mechs are checked off the LEGO Marvel bingo list and now you can tick off superhero and supervillain-themed vehicles with the release of 76309 Spider-Man VS Venom's Venomised Car and 76310 Iron Man & Black Panther Cars VS Red Hulk in this January 2025 wave. Across the two sets, we'll be getting another Spider-Man and Iron Man, Venom, Black Panther and bigfig Red Hulk as Minifigures.
This wave we'll be getting our first Spider-Verse-themed LEGO Marvel set of 76311 Spider-Verse: Miles Morales VS The Spot. It's unknown yet whether it'll be based off the 2018 or the 2023 Spider-Verse film but it will involve a battle between Miles Morales and the supervillain Spot. Both are included as Minifigures and could possibly be exclusive for a fairly exciting retail price of $39.99 / €39.99 / £34.99.
And that leaves us with two more sets and the most expensive two of the wave with both 76313 Buildable Marvel Logo and 76314 Civil War Airport Battle retailing for $99.99 / €99.99 / £89.99. 76313 looks to be a new concept of buildable logos whilst 76314 Civil War Airport Battle is our latest kid-friendly diorama from the LEGO Marvel theme. This one revisits the scene from Captain America Civil War where the teams of heroes battle at the airport and hopefully the brick-built version includes just as many characters as Minifigures.
