LEGO Minecraft 21273 The Ghast Balloon Village Attack Officially Revealed | March 2025

Anticipation continues to build for the upcoming A Minecraft Movie with less than three months to go until the film launches in cinemas. Unsurprisingly, LEGO is getting in on the action and the hype of the upcoming movie after celebrating 10 years of the gaming theme in 2024. On the 1st of March 2025, two sets based on A Minecraft Movie will be available: 21272 Woodland Mansion Fighting Ring and 21273 The Ghast Balloon Village Attack.

The latter of these is the focus of today's article with the 10+ model including a total of 555 pieces retailing for $69.99 / €69.99 / £59.99. Just like 21272, 21273 is based on elements of the film which we've already seen in the trailers and in particular the really cool-looking Ghast Balloons that the piglins ride. One of these so-called balloons is included in this set with it basically being just a single piglin on a small wooden structure riding a brick-built Ghast.

That's mainly because the focus of the 10+ model is with the 'Village Attack'. A brick-built fountain is included which has been destroyed by a missile attack play feature from the Ghast. Two other buildings from the village include a work shed and Steve's fried chicken shop which has a model of a large chicken that lays eggs on its roof. A couple of cute market stalls are also included selling fish and carrots respectively.

Just like 21272 Woodland Mansion Fighting Ring, The Ghast Balloon Village Attack is packed full of Minifigures and mobs. Jack Black's Steve returns as a Minifigure along with an exclusive Natalie and Dawn. Two piglins are also included along with a Ghast, a villager, a baby chicken and a moveable Iron Golem figure.
