One of the most hyped sets of the year has to be the next LEGO Minifigure series and this series has now been officially revealed today ahead of its release in May. In particular, the next LEGO Minifigures series is 71038 100 Years of Disney which is the third LEGO Disney series of Minifigures. But it'll be one of many celebratory sets releasing in 2023 to celebrate 100 years of the Disney franchise.
Like the last two LEGO Disney Minifigure series, this series will also include 18 unique Minifigure expanding across a range of films. New additions like Robin Hood, Pinocchio, Oswald and Pocahontas will go down very well with fans along with returning faces like Stitch and Princess Aurora who have had LEGO variants in the past. All Minifigures though are exclusive and include a range of new prints and pieces.
List of Minifigures
Here is the list of 18 Minifigures included in 71038 100 Years of Disney Series:
Sorcerer Mickey - A brand new variant of Mickey this time with a sorcerer's hat in blue along with a brown bucket and a mop.
Pinocchio - This lovable character is a rare Minifigure with an actual nose. He also comes with a new hair and hat piece along with midlegs and a fish in a bowl.
Jimmy Cricket - Another Pinocchio character and another character with mid legs and new hair and hat piece. He also comes with a red parasol.
Prisoner Stitch - Compared to the other Stitch, this one comes with four arms and two yellow ray guns.
Pocahontas - She's another very detailed Minifigure with a 1x1 round tile with a compass print along with some different coloured flowers and leaves.
Cruella de Vil - She comes with a hair piece in black and white along with some fur around the neck and a brand new piece for a Dalmatian.
Ernesto de la Cruz - Unsurprisingly, all his clothes and body are in black and white but are very detailed along with his guitar which includes new printing.
Oswald the Lucky Rabbit - He comes with a brand new head mould to make his giant bunny years along with a small 1x2 printed tile.
Queen of Hearts - She reuses the Queen body piece which also reappeared in the latest Minifigure series of series 24. She also includes a heart piece and a crown to go on top of her black hair.
Princess Aurora - She also comes in a beautiful dress but in pink along with a brown owl.
Baymax - He's fully white but with some extra long arms to make his big body. He also comes with his red charging bay which is brick built.
Mulan - She comes with a very detailed torso and legs to help create her fighting outfit. She also comes with a sword and Cri-Kee on printed stone.
Robin Hood - He comes with a new head mould along with a small yellow hat. He also comes with a bow and his usual green outfit.
Prince John - He too has a new head mould with a crown. He's wearing the usual royal outfit along with a brown bag.
Princess Tiana - She comes in a beautiful green dress along with the classic frog piece in bright green and a printed 2x3 tile.
Dr Facilier - Another highly detailed Minifigure coming with a cool printed top hat along with a printed 1x2 tile and a small walking stick.
Miguel - He comes in his red torso and hood along with a guitar and his dog Dante.
Evil Queen - Another Minifigure with a crown but this time it's much bigger and she also includes a purple coloured dress and the Magic Mirror.
The Packaging & Checklist
The 100 Years of Disney series continues the recent magical 100 Anniversary branding that we've already seen on some LEGO sets. The white background and sparkles can be seen on both the checklist and the packaging along with the Disney 100 logo. It's likely more images and advertisements of the figures will be included on the back.
