The first proper 2023 news is here thanks to a mysterious tease from Promobricks.de hinting at the upcoming LEGO NINJAGO wave. The tease has given away many set numbers and a couple of names for the 12-set wave releasing on 1st January 2023. There are also some prices as well thanks to a source on Instagram but, like with every rumour, take these with a grain of salt, especially with LEGO's recent price increases.
The most interesting set of the wave so far is 71787 Ninja Brick Box which sounds like it could be a mix between a LEGO Classic set and a LEGO NINJAGO set. However, similar to the Winter 2022s wave, this wave is mainly filled with smaller and more simple EVO sets aimed at younger children. A lot of these will most likely be 4+ sets along with the gimmick sets but these could also be Spinijitzu Ninja Training sets.
