After the official reveal of both 77001 Sonic's Campfire Clash and 77003 Super Shadow vs. Biolizard just over a week ago, we now have official images of the third and final LEGO Sonic The Hedgehog set launching on the 1st of January 2025. In particular, this is 77002 Cyclone vs. Metal Sonic which is the middle valued set of the value retailing for $34.99 / €34.99 / £29.99 with a total of 290 pieces included.
The main selling point of the 8+ model will be its Minifigure selection because, as the name suggests, we are getting an exclusive character of Metal Sonic. He's included in Minifigure form along with Tails who includes a brand new facial expression.
The Cyclone, a transforming vehicle created by Tails, is the main and only build of 77002. It is mainly coloured yellow, blue, and grey and has enough space for a single Minifigure of Tails to control the brick-built Cyclone and defeat Metal Sonic. The mech-like build comes with a cockpit, posable legs, a turret with stud shooter and a hidden Chaos Emerald. The Cyclone can also convert from walking to flying mode by folding and rotating its legs forwards.
