Not only is it 25 years since the first LEGO Star Wars set next year but it'll also be 25 years since the release of Episode I of Star Wars. And unsurprisingly, LEGO will be celebrating this occasion with the release of many sets throughout next year including 75381 Droideka which will retail for $59.99.
The destroyer droids were used during the Invasion of Naboo and will finally be returning to brick-built LEGO form on 1st May 2024. The last set of a standalone Droideka was 2000s LEGO Technic set of 8002 Destroyer Droid but 2024s version will be much more brick-built using more standard LEGO pieces. However, some technic pieces may still be required in order to create the Droids compacted ball mode.
