After multiple leaks and reviews of the set online, our final LEGO Star Wars Summer 2024 has been officially revealed for a 1st of August 2024 release. In particular, this is 75388 Jedi Bob's Starfighter which is the third set based on the upcoming four-part LEGO Star Wars miniseries entitled LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy. This is the smallest of the three non-canon sets retailing for $39.99 / €39.99 / £34.99 with a total of 305 pieces included.
The last and only LEGO set that saw the anonymous Jedi Bob appear in was 2002s 7163 Republic Gunship but 22 years later the non-canon Jedi makes his return. In 75388 Jedi Bob is obviously included as a Minifigure in a much more updated and modern form. However, he'll still include his yellow skin colour for his head and arms. He also comes with a hood, a cape and his green lightsaber as accessories.
Along with Jedi Bob, two more Minifigures are included of Admiral Ackbar Clone Trooper and the Gonk droid SR-VO. Those three Minifigures somewhat make that $40 price tag more reasonable along with the main and only build of the set of Jedi Bob's Starfighter.
This ship is very much a mix between 75333 Obi-Wan Kenobi's Jedi Starfighter and 75087 Anakin's Custom Jedi Starfighter. Jedi Bob's Starfighter has that white and red colour scheme of Obi-Wans but has a much wider and longer shape more similar to Anakin. Two hyperdrive thrusters are included at the front of the starfighter along with a cockpit big enough for a single Minifigure of Jedi Bob.
