It's been almost two years since we last saw a brick-built LEGO Star Wars helmet release but in 2025 LEGO will be bringing back the 18+ subtheme with a total of three helmets releasing over the next few months. The first of these has been officially revealed today of 75429 AT-AT Driver Helmet. The March 2025 model includes a total of 730 pieces retailing for $69.99 / €79.99 / £69.99.
The set celebrates the iconic design of the AT-AT Drivers, whose striking helmets were first seen commanding imposing All Terrain Armored Transports in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. The brick-built interpretation of these helmets stays true to their on-screen design, which withstands the harsh conditions of battle and extreme cold on planet Hoth.
75429 sees the AT-AT Driver helmet in brick-built form, coloured mainly grey/silver with a few intricate black details and shaping. The visor is one of these details which is completely black with some further black prints located above this area. Imperial logos are also included on the helmet as exclusive printed parts to give it that finished look and a stark contrast in colours with the logos being red on either side of the helmet. The whole model sits on the usual 18+ display stand with a small printed nameplate at the bottom.
