We've already had an official reveal of four LEGO Super Mario sets for this year's summer 2023 wave but another one has now been officially revealed for 1st August 2023. In particular, this is 71422 Picnic at Mario's House which is another cute expansion of Mario House in brick-built form. The LEGO Super Mario expansion set which isn't tied to any subtheme like the Donkey Kong sets will retail for $34.99 with 259 pieces.
That's a fairly high price for just over 250 pieces but the set does give us that expansion to Mario's house which has a small interior with a bed, clock, a picture, a tennis racket and more. In front of his house, there's a small garden area and a picnic basket which includes an interactive tile. An interactive tile is also included with the only character in this $35 set of Yellow Yoshi which last appeared in 30509 Yellow Yoshi's Fruit Tree
