2023 is coming thick and fast as we've finally got a full official reveal of one of its many January 2023 waves. In particular, it's the LEGO Super Mario theme that has had all seven sets releasing on 1st January 2023 revealed. These once again continue with the Digfig series but rather than brand new characters there's a brand new maker set of 71418 Creativity Toolbox Maker Set which includes a wide range of LEGO Super Mario pieces.
Also included in this wave is the sixth series of the Character packs which, like series 5, are $5.99 with some bigger characters included. The characters that aren't big in the series seem to have more characters like the two cat Goombas which are included in one box. Meanwhile, the rest of the wave introduces the new ice/snow biome and a range of new festive and snowy characters.
