The LEGO Technic theme is well known for capturing some of the world's best and most iconic vehicles and that trend has well and truly continued in 2024. But the latest vehicle coming to the LEGO Technic theme is a brand new Supercar which have started releasing bi-yearly, exclusive to LEGO. The latest LEGO Technic Supercar is 42172 McLaren P1 Supercar which will hit shelves on the 1st of August 2024.
The McLaren branded supercar will retail for $449.99 / €449.99 / $389.99 with only a total of 3,893 pieces included. However, the P1 will be a substantial size and similar to previous LEGO Technic Supercars coming in at that 1:8 supercar scale. Just like the last Technic Supercar of 42143 Ferrari Daytona SP3, 42172 will include a printed information plaque, plenty of moving parts and most likely a vibrant colour for the main body of the car.
