March 2025 LEGO Promotional/GWP Set News: Everything We Know

The 1st of March has very quickly become one of the biggest LEGO release dates of the year with 2025 featuring more than 50 brand new sets launching tomorrow. LEGO Speed Champions will finally see its first sets hit the shelves with the long-awaited Formula 1 sets recreating each of the 10 F1 teams in the eight-stud wide brick-built form. They will be available alongside a brand new LEGO Speed Champions Polybag.

Similar to how February saw 40781 Badnik: Crabmeat, another brand new set will be available from the 1st of March in the LEGO Insiders Rewards centre. For 2000 points you will be able to pick the first of supposedly two Space-themed LEGO Ideas sets coming in 2025 of 40786 Micro Command Centre. The promotional item is much smaller than the original design but still includes the ever-cute LEGO Space baby Minifigure.

Two more currently unrevealed GWPs will also be arriving later this month: 40764 Easter Bunny Surprise and 40762 Mixed Flowerpot. Both promotional items will be bringing some seasonal joy to this month's selection of GWPs but likely at a cost as we expect both models to be available at a high threshold, starting around the middle of March

The end of March will likely be much quieter as LEGO prepare for the release of the highly anticipated 10354 The Lord Of The Rings: Bag End and more expensive D2Cs from both the LEGO Ideas and LEGO Disney themes. But for the third month of the year, here's what we know so far for March 2025's full selection of GWPs:

30709 Ferrari 499P - Hypercar

2025 is the year for LEGO and F1 but this year's LEGO Speed Champions polybag is in fact based on a LeMans car driven by Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi. 30709 Ferrari 499P - Hypercar will be available from the 1st to the 11th of March 2025 but, reportedly due to licenses, will only be a GWP with Ferrari-branded LEGO purchases. This does mean however that the threshold for purchasing the new polybag is pretty low.

Age Range - 7+

Piece Count - 62

Price - any LEGO Ferrari purchases

Release Date - 1st-11th March 2025

40786 Micro Command Centre

40786 Micro Command Centre is one of the two winners of 2024's Exploring The Cosmos competition and will be available from the 1st of March 2025. Unfortunately, the 18+ model will be a brand new LEGO Insiders Reward set, being obtainable when you spend 2000 Insiders points. The microscale build includes the command centre itself along with a loading and unloading platform attached to a station and micro railway.

30702 Toad (Pit Crew)

Our second polybag on this list doesn't celebrate the release of a new wave but instead a very important day in the calendar of many gamers: Mario Day. Like previous years, LEGO will be celebrating the occasion with 30702 Toad (Pit Crew) available with LEGO Super Mario purchases over $50. The 6+ model fits in perfectly with the LEGO Super Mario Kart models that were released in January, especially with another chance to get the Pit Crew Toad figure.

Set Name - Toad (Pit Crew)

Set Number - 30702

Age Range - 6+

Piece Count - 39

Price - GWP over $50

Release Date - 5th-12th March 2025

40764 Easter Bunny Surprise GWP

It only feels like yesterday that we were celebrating Christmas and the New Year but in March, 2025s LEGO Easter GWP will be available. In particular, this is 40764 Easter Bunny Surprise which includes 217 pieces to create a blocky, white Easter bunny. The lid of the white bunny can be removed to reveal the "surprise". The threshold and exact release date for the 7+ model are currently unknown.

Set Name - Easter Bunny Surprise GWP

40762 Mixed Flowerpot GWP

Last but not least we have a brand new GWP from the ever-popular LEGO Botanicals line. This time it's 40762 Mixed Flowerpot which includes a range of colourful brick-built flowers in a small white pot. The 18+ display model includes a total of 253 pieces and just like 40764, its finer details such as release date and threshold are currently unknown.

Price - TBC GWP
