After the recent release of the latest LEGO Creator Expert set, 10279 Volkswagen T2 Camper Van, it's inevitable that some older sets will retire soon. Especially with how quickly LEGO are releasing sets aimed at Adults and older builders, sets will have to be removed from shelves to make way for these newer ones.
We now have rough information on LEGOs retirement plan for the LEGO Creator Expert theme with our information going all the way to 2024. This will almost definitely change as more sets are released this year and sales for the certain set either increases or decreases.
However, we can say that those that released earlier will most likely retire earlier and those that released later will most likely retire later. When a certain set finally does retire, they will sell for a heft price on things like eBay and other second-hand shopping websites. Especially because those sets in the LEGO Creator Expert theme are bigger builds which naturally sell for more.
