With three more sets still to release for the LEGO Ideas theme in 2023 including 21344 Orient Express, it's inevitable that some older sets will soon retire. We now have more information about LEGO's retirement plan for the LEGO Ideas theme with our information going up to 2025 but as we go into next year we'll be able to add more sets to the 2025 list and start the 2026 list as the LEGO Ideas theme continues to go from strength to strength.
This will almost definitely change as more sets are released this year and next year, including the rumoured 21343 Viking Village for October 2023, and sales for certain sets either increase or decrease. However, we can say that most of the LEGO Ideas sets that were released in 2020 will definitely have retired at the end of 2025.
