With multiple sets releasing in April, May and June from the LEGO Marvel theme, it's time to look at what's happening with the retirement of some of our beloved older sets from the popular yet largely expensive licensed theme.
We've got information covering all sets on the market for the LEGO Marvel theme, covering the years up to 2026. Remember that this information is likely to change as new sets hit shelves, like the rumoured 76323 Avengers Endgame Final Battle, and sales continue to increase or decrease. However, we can say that most of the LEGO Marvel sets released in 2022 or before will definitely have retired at the end of 2026 to make way for even more fan-favourite scenes and popular superhero Minifigures.
Sadly, two sets will be retiring in just a few months time as both 76278 Rocket's Warbird vs. Ronan and 76284 Green Goblin Construction Figure will be leaving shelves in July. Meanwhile, another 24 sets will see their end of lives in December including the ever-popular and Minifigure packed D2C of 76178 Daily Bugle. Having been available since June 2021, 76178 will unfortunately be retiring alongside plenty of character mechs and buildable figures.

While this list provides a rough outline of LEGO's retirement strategy for Marvel sets, always keep an out for changes and updates throughout the year. LEGO themselves will chop and change models in an extremely short period of time so our advice is to purchase a set whilst you can. But luckily plenty more sets will be coming throughout this year so be ready to splash the cash on even more superhero-themed models.
