With another summer wave and a couple of Ahsoka-based sets set yet to release for the LEGO Star Wars theme in 2023, it's inevitable that some older sets will soon retire. We now have more information about LEGO's retirement plan for the LEGO Star Wars theme with our information going up to 2025 but as the year goes on we'll very soon have even more information for 2025 and beyond.
This will almost definitely change as more sets are released throughout 2023 and sales for the certain set either increase or decrease. However, we can say that most of the LEGO Star Wars sets that were released in 2020 will definitely have retired at the end of 2024 including more recent sets like 75331 The Razor Crest and 75341 Luke Skywalker's Landspeeder.
Any LEGO Star Wars D2C sets like 75309 Republic Gunship and the rumoured 75367 UCS Venator Star Destroyer set for 2023, usually last quite a few years and always last longer than the smaller more widely available sets. However, we'd recommend getting any retiring D2Cs as soon as possible as these will quickly increase in price and go for a hefty amount of money in a few years.
