- September 2024 LEGO Promotional/GWP Set News: Everything We Know
September is here and with that we begin to see the end of Summer and the beginning of the autumnal weather. The 1st of September also marks Back to Hogwarts Day and, just like May the Fourth earlier in the year, LEGO will be going all out for the occasion with the release of a brand new D2C of 76437 The Burrow - Collectors' Edition and a total of three Harry Potter themed GWPs. Like previous months, the rest of September is very much a mystery but we are aware of a third brand new Gift With Purchase of the month. In particular, this is a promotional item under the LEGO Friends theme which has already had a very action-packed 2024 with reports also claiming that 2025 will be just as busy with a total of 19 sets releasing in the first half of next year. The LEGO Harry Potter theme kicks off September but another brand new GWP in the middle of the month and the possibility of a couple of returning promotional items make for an exciting 30 days but here's what we know so far for September 2024's full selection of GWPs: 30677 Draco In The Forbidden Forest Our first of three LEGO Harry Potter GWPs is available from today of 30677 Draco In The Forbidden Forest. The Wizarding World polybag was originally released alongside the first wave of LEGO Harry Potter sets for this year which released on the 1st of March 2024. But now LEGO is giving it away with any LEGO Harry Potter purchases over $40 between the 1st and 10th of September 2024. 30677 itself is basically a very small expansion to another LEGO Harry Potter set of 76432 Forbidden Forest: Magical Creatures which also released in March. The polybag includes a very small section of the forbidden forest with a mix of the colours blue, black and purple. An owl is also included along with a spider and of course a young Draco Minifigure. He includes his wand and a lantern which has lost its light. Set Name - Draco In The Forbidden Forest Set Number - 30677 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - 33 Price - GWP over $40 Release Date - 1st to 10th September 2024 40695 Borgin and Burkes: Floo Network The main LEGO Harry Potter promo for 2024 is 40695 Borgin and Burkes: Floo Network. Just like 30677, it'll be available from the 1st to the 10th of September 2024 but for a much higher threshold of $130. Once again, this does apply to any LEGO Harry Potter purchases regardless if you buy the new D2C of 76437 The Burrow - Collectors' Edition or not. The Minifigure scale version of the inside of Borgin and Burkes focuses on a small section of the shops interior which includes a display of buyable items, such as the Hand of Glory, and a brick-built fireplace with a Floo Network function. A single Minifigure of Lucious Malfoy is also included in 40695. He comes with a cane and a box of dark objects as his accessories. Lucious can also be placed inside the Floo Network fireplace and then 'disappear' by turning the handle on top. The plastic display model of the Weasley's Clock but with LEGO versions of the Burrow and the Weasley family will be exclusive to purchases of 76437 The Burrow - Collectors' Edition. Luckily, like the two previous GWPs, it will be available from today until the 10th of September 2024. Set Name - Collectible Weasley Clock Set Number - 5009008 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - N/A Price - GWP of 76437 The Burrow - Collectors' Edition Release Date - 1st to 10th September 2024 40694 River Camping Adventure Our final confirmed promotional item for September 2024 is 40694 River Camping Adventure. The 6+ model belongs to the LEGO Friends theme which has no new sets launching for the rest of the year suggesting a fairly accessible and reasonable threshold once it becomes available from the 16th of September 2024. 40694 seems to be continuing with the 'Adventure Camp' themed sets that were released in the Summer for the unlicensed theme. The GWP features an orange tent rested against a tree with autumnal coloured leaves - perfect for the upcoming time of the year. Two minidolls are included along with a campfire, a small patch of water and plenty of camping accessories for the two figures and the moulded beaver. Set Name - River Camping Adventure Set Number - 40694 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - 182 Price - TBC GWP Release Date - 16th September 2024 Breakdown of the September 2024 Promotional/GWP Sets Set Price Conditions Promotional Dates 30677 Draco In The Forbidden Forest $40+ on LEGO Harry Potter sets September 1st to 10th 40695 Borgin and Burkes: Floo Network $130+ on LEGO Harry Potter sets September 1st to 10th 5009008 Collectible Weasley Clock Purchase 76437 September 1st to 10th 40694 River Camping Adventure TBC September 16th to TBC So that concludes what we know so far about the promotional and gift-with-purchase sets for September 2024 but what do you think? LEGO Animal Crossing, LEGO Fortnite, LEGO Wicked and now LEGO Wednesday - a total of four brand new themes have been introduced to the brick-building world of LEGO throughout 2024. The latter of the four, LEGO Wednesday, is the only theme we're still expecting official images from but in the meantime, we have reports of another set based on the popular Netflix series. In particular, this is under the LEGO BrickHeadz theme of 40750 Wednesday Addams. The blocky brick-built version of the daughter Wednesday Addams, played by Jenna Ortega, will retail for the usual price of $9.99 / €9.99 / £9.99 with a total of 239 pieces included. The third set releasing on the 1st of October based on the Wednesday Netflix series will likely include Wednesday in her uniform at Nevermore Academy, a boarding school for monstrous outsiders. Wednesday may also include her iconic umbrella and possibly another brick-built accessory for this BrickHeadz model. 40750 Wednesday Addams Set Name - Wednesday Addams Set Number - 40750 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 239 Price - $9.99 / €9.99 / £9.99 Release Date - 1st October 2024 40750 Wednesday Addams releases on the 1st of October 2024 but what do you think? - LEGO Icons Botanical Collection 10370 Poinsettia Officially Revealed | October 2024
2024 really has been the year for LEGO and flowers as two more LEGO Icons Botanical Collection sets have been officially revealed for a 1st of October 2024 release. The second of these is 10370 Poinsettia which recreates a brand new plant of the Poinsettia, originally from Mexico, in brick-built LEGO form. 10370 will retail for $49.99 / €49.99 / £44.99 with a total of 608 pieces included. The October 2024 model is a somewhat similar size to 10311 Orchid which includes the exact same piece count for that $50 price tag. However, the Poinsettia is a very different plant best known for its striking red leaves, although they can also be pink, white, or even yellow. Interestingly, these colourful parts aren't actually flowers—they're called "bracts," which are a type of leaf with the actual small yellow flowers being in the centre of the leaf. Just like 10340 Holly Wreath which also releases on the 1st of October 2024, 10370 Poinsettia has a vague winter and Christmas theme. The plant is often used as decoration during this festive time even though it prefers warmer environments and plenty of sunlight. Its striking bright colour scheme however means the plant is perfect to display all year round and this has definitely been the case with the LEGO version. The Poinsettia plant is nestled in a brick-built tan pot which is meant to represent a woven basket flowerpot. 10370 features 5 clusters of vibrant red leaves (bracts) with bright yellow cyathia at the centre. This looks even more colourful when its surrounded by some large, dark green leaves that complete the realistic look of the $50 18+ model. 10370 Poinsettia Set Name - Poinsettia Set Number - 10370 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 608 Price - $49.99 / €49.99 / £44.99 Release Date - 1st October 2024 10370 Poinsettia releases on the 1st of October 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 10370 in a months time? What's been your favourite and least favourite LEGO Botanical Collection set of 2024? What will the subtheme bring in 2025? - LEGO Icons Botanical Collection 10340 Wreath Officially Revealed | October 2024
2024 really has been the year for LEGO and flowers as two more LEGO Icons Botanical Collection sets have been officially revealed for a 1st of October 2024 release. The first of these is 10340 Wreath which along with 10339 Winter Village: Hot Air Ballon Ride is bringing the seasonal fun to the LEGO for adults theme. 10340 will retail for $99.99 / €99.99 / £89.99 with a total of 1,194 pieces included. 10340 Wreath is obviously a brick-built version of a traditional Christmas Wreath making it the first Christmas-based LEGO Icons Botanical Collection set. Unsurprisingly, the Wreath is mainly green using the traditional LEGO leaf piece but in many different shades of green. Small berries are inside of these leaves which can be customized to either red, blue or white. The LEGO Wreath, which is our first since 40426 Christmas Wreath 2-in-1, comes with four hanging loops and can also be displayed in garland configuration making it perfect to be displayed on either the wall or the table. The green wreath also includes printed orange slices, cinnamon and pine cones which are integrated into the many leaves and the wreaths octagonal base construction. 10340 Wreath Set Name - Wreath Set Number - 10340 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 1,194 Price - $99.99 / €99.99 / £89.99 Release Date - 1st October 2024 10340 Wreath releases on the 1st of October 2024 but what do you think? - LEGO DREAMZzz Rumoured January 2025 Sets | 71487, 71488, 71489, 71490, 71491 + 71497
LEGO DREAMZzz will continue into 2025 which will see its second full year on shelves and alongside it most likely another season of the popular TV series. Early rumours have indicated that a total of 15 sets will release under LEGO's newest unlicensed theme and we now know six of these models are scheduled for a 1st of January 2025 release. These six sets to kick off the new year cover the set numbers 71487, 71488, 71489, 71490, 71491 and 71497. Currently, we only know the set names and numbers of these six LEGO DREAMZzz January 2025 sets but we can make educated guesses on what will be included in each respective model. The first of these is 71487 Mateo And Z-Blob Robot And Vehicle Adventures 1in20 which we expect to be the smallest set of the wave. A total of 20 different vehicle variants of Z-Blob the Robot will be included in his usual white and green colour scheme. Some of the small brick-built vehicles include a racing car, a scorpion-like build, some jets and planes, a miniature mech and plenty more. Another customizable and very creative build will be 71488 Izzie's Creative Box. Again, we expect this to be a reasonably priced set with many different builds to be created from the currently unknown number of pieces. All the builds will be associated with the character Izzie who will be included as a Minifigure in 71488. The creative builds included in this model may also make an appearance in the next series of the LEGO DREAMZzz TV series. 71489 Cooper's Gaming Jet is fairly self-explanatory: a brick-built jet for the character and Minifigure Cooper. Like previous vehicles based on Cooper, the Gaming Jet will be coloured light blue and red with the gaming theme extremely prominent throughout. Hopefully, along with a small cockpit for the jet, we will also get a gaming-themed interior with the likes of arcades and cool gaming posters. Another gaming-themed LEGO DREAMZzz set for 2025 is 71490 Izzie And Bunchurro The Gaming Bunny. We had a set very similar to this when the theme first debuted in August 2023 of 71453 Izzie and Bunchu the Bunny. 2025s 71490 looks to include a different brick-built rabbit of Bunchurro The Gaming Bunny along with the same character and Minifigure of Izzie. It'll be interesting to see how different this bunny is compared to the original in 2023 and how this ties into the continuation of the TV series. 71491 Mateo And The Z-Blob Action Race Car and 71497 Cooper's Tiger Mech And Zero's Hot Rod Racer are the final two sets on this list and likely the biggest of the upcoming wave. Both sets, like most of the theme, include brick-built vehicles and mechs to add to your LEGO DREAMZzz world. If we're to get any new character in this wave it could be in one of these sets and we may also see new versions of Mateo and Cooper which are already in other sets in this 2025 wave. 71487 Mateo And Z-Blob Robot And Vehicle Adventures 1in20 Set Name - Mateo And Z-Blob Robot And Vehicle Adventures 1in20 Set Number - 71487 Age Range - TBC Piece Count - TBC Price - $TBC / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 71488 Izzie's Creative Box Set Name - Izzie's Creative Box Set Number - 71488 Age Range - TBC Piece Count - TBC Price - $TBC / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 71489 Cooper's Gaming Jet Set Name - Cooper's Gaming Jet Set Number - 71489 Age Range - TBC Piece Count - TBC Price - $TBC / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 71490 Izzie And Bunchurro The Gaming Bunny Set Name - Izzie And Bunchurro The Gaming Bunny Set Number - 71490 Age Range - TBC Piece Count - TBC Price - $TBC / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 71491 Mateo And The Z-Blob Action Race Car Set Name - Mateo And The Z-Blob Action Race Car Set Number - 71491 Age Range - TBC Piece Count - TBC Price - $TBC / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 71497 Cooper's Tiger Mech And Zero's Hot Rod Racer Set Name - Cooper's Tiger Mech And Zero's Hot Rod Racer Set Number - 71497 Age Range - TBC Piece Count - TBC Price - $TBC / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 All six of these LEGO DREAMZzz sets launch on the 1st of January 2025 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing any of these models at the start of the new year? Which is your favourite and least favourite set of the wave? Are you hoping we get some new characters and Minifigures in these six sets? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.
- LEGO Ideas 21353 Botanical Garden Rumoured For November 2024
After the reveal of 21351 Disney Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas just over a week ago, that leaves just two more LEGO Ideas sets to release in 2024. On the 1st of October 2024, we'll see the release of 21352 Disney 100 Celebration and a month later 21353 Botanical Garden will hit shelves. The November 2024 set will retail for $329.99 / €329.99 / £279.99 with a total of 3,792 pieces included. It's been less than a year since the Botanical Garden and Twilight: Cullen House were confirmed to be coming as official LEGO sets but the LEGO designers have been extremely busy preparing the brick-built Botanical Garden for a 1st of November 2024 release. Once it releases it'll become the largest LEGO Ideas set of 2024 in terms of piece count, beating Aprils 21348 - Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon's Tale. As the name suggests, 21353 will be a beautiful recreation of a Botanical Garden in LEGO form, similar to the recent LEGO Friends Botanical Garden set of 41757 Botanical Garden but in a much bigger scale. In fact, the original submission had a base of 32 x 48 studs which ended up measuring 28 cm high and 26 cm wide. The brick-built Botanical Garden building is a fully glazed greenhouse with a neoclassical entrance facade that welcomes visitors inside. There you can find various botanical species in LEGO form including a banana tree, a palm and a Beaucarnea recurvata in the central area, succulents plants in the left apse, various flowers in the right apse, Anthurium , Strelitzia , Bamboo plants, Stromanthe thalia , Caladium bicolor , Begonia Maculata , Codiaeum variegatum e and many more along the garden's perimeter. Even with this wide range of Minifigure scale botanical plants, the interior is very large with fully accessible open space on two levels. A spiral staircase allows access to reach the balcony from which you can admire the foliage of the tallest trees up close. There is also a skylight roof, large open glass windows on the first floor, the two side apses on the ground floor and the internal balcony which can all be easily removed for full playability. The original submission by Goannas89 included over 3,000 pieces, eight Minifigures, plenty of accessories and a dog. Already LEGO has built a set with well over 3,000 parts so hopefully, eight detailed and fun Minifigures will also be included along with the possibility of a dog and plenty more accessories for the Botanical Garden. 21353 Botanical Garden Set Name - Botanical Garden Set Number - 21353 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 3,792 Price - $329.99 / €329.99 / £279.99 Release Date - 1st November 2024 21353 Botanical Garden releases on the 1st of November 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 21353 in a few months time? Are you looking forward to adding an 18+ Botanical Garden to your LEGO City? Do you already own the LEGO Friends Botanical Garden? What would be a reasonable amount of Minifigures in the $330 model? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.
- LEGO Marvel Iron Man's Hall of Armour Rumoured For 2025
Recreating the iconic room where Iron Man stores his high-tech suits has been quite common in LEGO form with a brand new brick-built version of Iron Man's Hall of Armour now coming in 2025. The last hall of armour was the now-retired 76216 Iron Man Armoury but in the first half of 2025, we'll see a brand new one currently just entitled Iron Man's Hall or Armour according to Instagramer Exabrickslegogo_. He reports that the brick-built Hall of Armour will retail for $54.99 / €54.99 / £49.99 with four Minifigures included. These are Iron Patriot, Pepper Potts, Aldrich Killian, and Iron Man in the MK42 armour. Along with these figures, there's a brick-built version of Tony Stark's 38th Iron Man suit, Igor. A feature is included whereby a figure can be placed inside the suit which specialises in heavy lifting. The build for the Hall of Armour is likely to be an unsubstantial size but, hopefully, for the lack of new suits, we get some cool features. Along with displays for Tony Stark's suits, hopefully, there are a few more accessories, builds and cool play features for the $55 set which is based on the third Iron Man film. - LEGO Harry Potter 76437 The Burrow - Collectors' Edition Officially Revealed | September 2024
After leaking as early as 2023 in a survey leak and then leaking again only a couple of weeks ago, we finally have official images of the final LEGO Harry Potter set of the year. In particular, this is the second LEGO Harry Potter 18+ D2C of 2024 of 76437 The Burrow - Collectors' Edition which hits shelves in just a couple of weeks time. It will retail for a total of $259.99 / €259.99 / £219.99 with 2,405 pieces making it the biggest and most detailed brick-built version of the Burrow house to date. The last LEGO version of the Weasley's House was released in 2020 of 75980 Attack on the Burrow but avid LEGO fans will know we've been waiting for a D2C version of the iconic building since February 2023. This is because an 18+ collectors style Burrow appeared in the infamous survey leak along with the 18+ set of 76429 Talking Sorting Hat which released in March. Both sets clearly went down well as we're expecting 76437 The Burrow: Collectors Edition to release on the 4th of September 2024. This brand-new brick version of The Burrow is much bigger and more detailed than any of the previous versions. The house is fully enclosed but is built across many floors with different colourful and random rooms included on each floor. Some exciting and interesting building techniques are used, particularly to create the house in a sliding, rickety motion. The Burrow also includes plenty of hinge connections to open up the house and access the hidden interior details and rooms. The full, detailed interior includes Fred and George's room, the kitchen, the toilet, the attic, Percy's room, a fireplace with a Floo Network function that makes minifigures ‘disappear’ and much more. Being an 18+ set, no stickers are luckily included, and instead, they are replaced by exclusive prints. Quidditch team logos, posters and bedding are some of the main cool Harry Potter prints in this September 2024 LEGO set. A small garden with pigs is also attached to the brick-built Burrow along with a cool play feature where the dishes can magically wash themselves in that busy and detailed kitchen of the Weasleys. The biggest Burrow yet, which measures 46cm high and 25 cm wide , isn't complete without a stellar Minifigure lineup. 76937 includes a total of 10 Minifigures of Molly, Arthur, Ron, Ginny, Fred and George, Percy, Charlie, Bill and - of course - Harry. The most exciting figures of the 10 have to be Bill and Charlie which appear in LEGO Minifigure form for the very first time. 76437 The Burrow - Collectors' Edition Set Name - The Burrow - Collectors' Edition Set Number - 76437 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 2,405 Price - $259.99 / €259.99 / £219.99 Release Date - 4th September 2024 76437 The Burrow - Collectors' Edition releases on the 4th of September but what do you think? Will you be purchasing the biggest and best version of the Burrow in just a couple of weeks time? What part of the 18+ model are you looking forward to building the most? We are just days away from the next LEGO Harry Potter D2C with an official reveal expected within the next week of the final Wizarding World set of 2024. 76437 The Burrow: Collectors Edition is this year's LEGO Harry Potter D2C with the 18+ model retailing for $259.99 with 2,405 pieces included. It'll be released on the 1st of September 2024 alongside a brand new exclusive Gift With Purchase for the theme. This LEGO Harry Potter GWP in particular is 40695 Borgin and Burkes: Floo Network GWP which has been officially revealed today thanks to the Australian LEGO shop@home site. 190 pieces are used to create the model which will in fact be available with any LEGO Harry Potter purchases over $130 starting from the 1st of September 2024 and lasting until the 10th of September 2024. The 8+ playset is a Minifigure scale version of the inside of Borgin and Burkes - an antique shop located in Knockturn Alley. The set focuses on a small section of the shops interior which includes a display of buyable items, such as the Hand of Glory, and a brick-built fireplace with a Floo Network function. Another brick-built fireplace, connected via the Floo Network will also be included in 76437 The Burrow: Collectors Edition allowing the iconic Floo Network scene from the second film to be recreated. A single Minifigure of Lucious Malfoy is also included in 40695. He comes with a cane and a box of dark objects as his accessories. Lucious can also be placed inside the Floo Network fireplace and then 'disappear' by turning the handle on top. 40695 Borgin and Burkes: Floo Network GWP Set Name - Borgin and Burkes: Floo Network GWP Set Number - 40695 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 190 Price - GWP over $130 Release Date - 1st to 10th September 2024 40695 Borgin and Burkes: Floo Network GWP releases on the 1st of September 2024 but what do you think? - LEGO Friends 40694 River Camping Adventure GWP Rumoured For 16th September 2024
LEGO Friends has become a staple theme in the last decade and that looks to be continuing as we head into 2025 with reportedly 19 sets releasing in the first half of the new year. But the unlicensed theme isn't finished with 2024 just yet as a brand new Gift With Purchase will be available in less than a months time starting from the 16th of September 2024. This promotional item in particular is 40694 River Camping Adventure which includes a total of 182 pieces for a currently unknown threshold. The name suggests a brand new expansion to the 'Adventure Camp' subtheme we saw in the themes June 2024 wave. These included sets like 42622 Adventure Camp Archery Range, 42624 Adventure Camp Cozy Cabins, 42626 Adventure Camp Water Sports and 42631 Adventure Camp Tree House. 40694 will be slightly bigger than one of those Summer 2024 sets of 42622 Adventure Camp Archery Range which retailed for $14.99 and is now available in-store and online. The GWP will likely act as a parts pack for the Adventure Camp subtheme by including some of the necessary components of a LEGO Friends camping trip in brick-built LEGO form. The name suggests this camping adventure will be set up next to a lake and may possibly include a couple of fishing accessories along with a fire. A tent is also likely to be included alongside plenty of scenery from the forest which the friends end up camping in. Sadly, we expect only a single minidoll to be included but they may also come with a moulded animal that lives in the camping forest. 40694 River Camping Adventure GWP Set Name - River Camping Adventure GWP Set Number - 40694 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - 182 Price - TBC GWP Release Date - 16th September 2024 40694 River Camping Adventure GWP releases on the 16th of September 2024 but what do you think? - LEGO Minifigures 71048 CMF Series 27 Rumoured For January 2025
For many LEGO fans, 2024 had an absolutely stellar selection of Minifigures series with two new unlicensed series, including one themed entirely around Space and a licensed Dungeons & Dragons Minifigures series to mark the 50th anniversary of the franchise. But now our attention turns to 2025 with three more LEGO Minifigures coming including 71048 CMF Series 27 which releases on the 1st of January 2025. Brick Clicker on YouTube is the first to report of the first series of 2025 being the 27th unlicensed LEGO series of collectable Minifigures. 71048 will retail for the usual price of $4.99 / €3.99 / £3.49 with a single Minifigure in each blind box. Since the introduction of these controversial blind boxes at the end of 2023, LEGO has introduced QR codes which can be scanned revealing a unique code for each of the 12 exclusive figures. What exactly these 12 Minifigures are in Series 27 is currently unknown but we expect them to be the usual fun, random and creative characters. We can almost definitely say that a couple more costume characters will be included along with historical figures, fantasy creatures and everyday workers in a LEGO Minifigure form. 71048 CMF Series 27 Set Name - CMF Series 27 Set Number - 71048 Age Range - 5+ Piece Count - TBC Price - $4.99 / €3.99 / £3.49 Release Date - 1st January 2025 71048 CMF Series 27 releases on the 1st of January 2025 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 71048 in a few months time? Do you have any guesses for what the 12 exclusive Minifigures in the series could be? What will the other Minifigures series of 2025 be? - 2 LEGO Star Wars 18+ Helmets Rumoured For 2025 | Bo Katan Kryze + Jango Fett
It's already been over a month since we had our first LEGO Star Wars 2025 rumours but the licensed theme is set for another busy 12 months. A total of seven sets branded under the LEGO Star Wars theme are scheduled for a 1st of January 2025 release including three new 18+ microscale ships. Just like this year and in previous years, January will be far from the only wave of LEGO Star Wars models launching in 2025. A March wave will follow along with the usual May the Fourth celebrations and the next UCS model. The Summer months are likely to be even busier with LEGO Star Wars sets releasing in both June and August followed by a final 18+ D2C in October time. Of course, a lot of the precise information and the set lists of each wave will be unknown but as we head ever closer to 2025 that will very soon change. We already may have our first rumblings about those LEGO Star Wars sets launching in March and May as it's being reported that LEGO Star Wars 18+ helmets will return after a year hiatus. Bo Katan Kryze Helmet The LEGO Star Wars 18+ Helmet subtheme has seen plenty of popular characters' helmets recreated in a brick-built form including those from the extremely popular Mandalorian series. Mando himself along with Boba Fett have gotten the brick-built helmet treatment and now so will one of the stars of the third season of the show, Bo Katan Kryze. Bo Katan's helmet, known as the Nite Owl, will likely be very similar to Din Djarin and Boba Fett in LEGO form yet also very distinctive in its own ways with its very sleek and angular design. The helmet is primarily a deep metallic blue with white accents, particularly on the cheeks and around the eye area giving it an owl-like appearance. On the right side of the helmet, there is a rangefinder that can be flipped down over the visor. Jango Fett Helmet Talking of Boba Fett, rumours also indicate that we could be getting his dads, Jango Fett's helmet in brick-built LEGO form. Similar to Bo Katan, his helmet will be very similar to those already existing in LEGO form and in particular his own son Boba Fett. Jango Fett's helmet is a classic example of Mandalorian armour, known for its utilitarian and menacing design. Once again these are obvious characteristics of many other characters' helmets but would still look stunning in LEGO form on the usual 18+ black display stand. The helmet is sleek and metallic, primarily featuring a polished silver or steel colour, with blue accents that give it a distinct and recognizable look. Both helmets have their own distinctive features, patterns and characteristics and it'll be very interesting to see them in brick-built LEGO form but what do you think? Are you happy that LEGO Star Wars 18+ helmets might return? Do you own any of the existing helmets? What other characters would you like to see in this form? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.
- LEGO Icons Botanical Collection 10370 Poinsettia Rumoured For October 2024
2024 really has been the year for LEGO and flowers as two more LEGO Icons Botanical Collection sets are rumoured for a 1st of October 2024 release. The second of these is 10370 Poinsettia which recreates a brand new plant of the Poinsettia, originally from Mexico, in brick-built LEGO form. 10370 will retail for $49.99 / €49.99 / £TBC with a total of 608 pieces included. The October 2024 model will be a very similar size to 10311 Orchied which includes the exact same piece count for that $50 price tag. Its striking bright colour scheme however means the plant is perfect to display all year round and this will definitely be the case with the LEGO version. 10370 Poinsettia Set Name - Poinsettia Set Number - 10370 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 608 Price - $49.99 / €49.99 / £TBC Release Date - 1st October 2024 10370 Poinsettia releases on the 1st of October 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 10370 in a couple of months time? What's been your favourite and least favourite LEGO Botanical Collection set of 2024? What will the subtheme bring in 2025? - LEGO Creator 3in1 40691 Mythical Pegasus GWP Officially Revealed | 19th August 2024
As we're almost halfway through August we now have official pictures of a long-awaited brand new LEGO promotional item for the summer month. In particular, this is 40691 Mythical Pegasus which includes 278 pieces once it becomes available from the 19th August 2024. There's still no confirmation on its threshold but, as a LEGO Creator 3in1 branded model, the set will most likely be available with all LEGO purchases or specific unlicensed themes under something like $70-$100. Those 278 pieces of 40691 are used to recreate the mythical Greek creature known as a Pegasus. Its build is similar to another mythical creature of a Unicorn in the set 31140 Magical Unicorn but with two main differences. Firstly, the Mythical Pegasus does not have a horn but instead has brick-built wings. Secondly, the creature mainly comes in white along with some hints of purple, blue, and light blue as its mystical and fantasy-like colour scheme. The colourful Mythical Pegasus is the main build of the set but it does also sit on a brown column so that it can be nicely displayed. 40691 is also a LEGO Creator 3in1 model so the Mythical Pegasus is only one of three different builds that can be created using only the 278 pieces included in the 7+ model. The other two models are of a dragon and a mythical bird that continue the same colour scheme. 40691 Mythical Pegasus Set Name - Mythical Pegasus Set Number - 40691 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 278 Price - TBC GWP Release Date - 19th August 2024 40691 Mythical Pegasus GWP is available from the 19th August 2024 but what do you think? Will you be looking to pick up 40691 in just a few days time? What would be a suitable threshold for this LEGO Creator 3in1 GWP? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.
- LEGO Ideas 21351 Disney Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas Officially Revealed | September 2024
2024 has been another incredible year for the LEGO Ideas theme with franchises like Dungeons & Dragons and Jaws being translated into brick-built form for the first time. On the 6th of September 2024, our seventh LEGO Ideas set of the year will hit shelves of 21351 Disney Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. The 18+ branded model will retail for $199.99 / €199.99 / £169.99 with a total of 2,193 pieces included. The original submission by Tvrulesmylife was approved for production by the LEGO Ideas team back in February 2023. Since then the LEGO designers and fan designer have been hard at work designing our first LEGO set based on the 1993 Disney film. The only other time we've gotten LEGO The Nightmare Before Christmas was back in 2019 with the second LEGO Disney Minifigure series including both Jack Skellington and Sally Stitches. Jack Skellington and Sally Stitches return in 21351 but this time Jack Skellington includes longer legs along with updated printing for his torso and a new facial expression. The same has also happened with Sally. A further six characters are also included in the $200 set of Santa Clause, Lock, Shock and Barrel as LEGO Minifigures along with Zero the dog and a buildable, 2-faced The Mayor figure. In the centre of the build is the haphazard house of Jack Skellington - the main character in the movie. This is the main part of the set with the house towering over the rest of Halloween town. The house can be spun around 360 degrees to reveal two small rooms inside. The main interior is a room where Jack has created his own interpretation of Christmas with a Halloween twist. The chalkboard can be seen here as he tries to understand the festivities. The other, much smaller room, is home to a Christmas tree. On the right of the model is the gothic but also really cool Town Square complete with a Town Hall along with a creepy green-coloured water fountain. A fun play feature is also included here with a scene depicting Santa being kidnapped and transported into the trick or treaters walking bathtub. Meanwhile, to the left of the build is the Spiral Hill which can be found within the town's dark and dull graveyard. The graveyard is also home to Jack’s Ghostly dog Zero and his kennel tomb. Meanwhile, Jack & Sally join each other on top of the hill to recreate one of the film’s most recognisable scenes. Each section of the build acts as a diorama modular system, allowing plenty of ways to both display and play with the 18+ model which releases on the 6th of September 2024. 21351 Disney Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas Set Name - Disney Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas Set Number - 21351 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 2,193 Price - $199.99 / €199.99 / £169.99 Release Date - 6th September 2024 21351 Disney Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas releases on the 6th of September 2024 but what do you think? 2024 has already seen the release of a couple of brand new themes but now LEGO and Broadway are joining forces for a brand new LEGO Wicked theme. Many films and games have seen their franchises turned into brick-built LEGO form, but never a musical before. Wicked will become the first LEGO theme to be based on Broadway talent yet it will also tie into the upcoming Wicked movie. That's right, the iconic Westend musical Wicked will have its own LEGO theme starting on the 1st of October 2024. The musical was first performed over 20 years ago on the 10th of June 2003 but has continued to grow in popularity year on year. Wicked will become the first LEGO theme to be based on Broadway talent yet it will also tie into the upcoming Wicked movie. The highly anticipated film comes out later this year on the 27th of November 2024 - just under two months before four LEGO-branded Wicked sets hit shelves. The film adaptation will be split into two parts due to the story's complexity and length. Part 1 is releasing this November with part 2 expected to release as early as 2025. This first wave of LEGO sets are based on Wicked Part 1 but we expect LEGO to also cover the second part of the adaptation. As we've already mentioned, the LEGO Wicked theme will kick off with a total of four sets ranging from $30 to $100. But as official images have shown today, the LEGO Wicked theme will include minidolls rather than Minifigures.
