- LEGO Icons Botanical Collection 10340 Holly Wreath Rumoured For October 2024
2024 really has been the year for LEGO and flowers as two more LEGO Icons Botanical Collection sets are rumoured for a 1st of October 2024 release. The first of these is 10340 Holly Wreath which along with 10339 Winter Village: Hot Air Ballon Ride is bringing the seasonal fun to the LEGO for adults theme. 10340 will retail for $99.99 / €99.99 / £89.99 with a total of 1,194 pieces included. 10340 Holly Wreath will obviously be a brick-built version of a traditional Holly Wreath making it the first Christmas-based LEGO Icons Botanical Collection set. Unsurprisingly, the Holly Wreath will mainly be green for the Holly leaves along with the red for the berries and the brown of the pines. If LEGO go all in on this festive set we could even see dashes of white to represent snow on the Holly Wreath. The last LEGO Holly Wreath retired at the end of last year of 40426 Christmas Wreath 2-in-1 which included 510 pieces. This means 10340 has twice as many pieces and therefore will be a much more substantial size with a lot more added details as seen in previous 18+ Botanical Collection sets. It's also likely that LEGO incorporates the likes of a bow and other smaller Christmas details along with a simple way to hang the Holly Wreath. 10340 Holly Wreath Set Name - Holly Wreath Set Number - 10340 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 1,194 Price - $99.99 / €99.99 / £89.99 Release Date - 1st October 2024 10340 Holly Wreath releases on the 1st of October 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 10340 in a couple of months time? What's been your favourite LEGO Icons Botanical Collection set of 2024? What other festive sets will you be buying this Christmas? - LEGO Star Wars 75397 Jabba's Sail Barge Rumoured For October 2024
With the August 2024 release hitting shelves just a few days ago, only a handful of LEGO Star Wars sets remain for the rest of the year. One of these includes the themes third and final 18+ D2C of 2024 of 75397 Jabba's Sail Barge. The October 2024 model retails for a total of $499.99 / €549.99 / £429.99 with 3,942 pieces and 10 Minifigures included in the D2C. Those 10 Minifigures will probably explain the high $500 price as LEGO seems to be reproducing characters for the first time since 2013 - the release of the last brick-built LEGO Jabba's Sail Barge of 75020. But 2024's Sail Barge includes Jabba the Hutt, Biba Fortuna, Leia in her Huttslayer outfit, Klatu, Nikto, Max Reebo, R2-D2, C3PO, Salacious B. Crumb, and a Gamorrean guard. The 18+ set itself is based on Star Wars Return of the Jedi which celebrated its 40th anniversary last year and will appear in LEGO form for the first time in over 10 years. The brick-built Sail Barge owned by Jabba the Hutt sits on the usual UCS black stand and will most likely come a printed information plauqe. Original leaks of the set in the survey lakes from last February also suggested that the D2C would measure 26 cm tall, 25 cm wide and 60 cm in length even though that rumoured model also had a lot more pieces. 75397 Jabba's Sail Barge with its 10 Minifigures and almost 4,000 pieces is Minifigure scale with plenty of display and play room for the 10 unique characters. In the sail barge, different compartments are able to open up allowing plenty of playability for this UCS set along with the deck and its sails which use a large orange fabric piece. This large fabric element and l arger elements being used for the side walls would explain 75397s high price once it releases on the 3rd of October 2024. 75397 Jabba's Sail Barge Set Name - Jabba's Sail Barge Set Number - 75397 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 3,942 Price - $499.99 / €549.99 / £429.99 Release Date - 3rd October 2024 75397 Jabba's Sail Barge releases on the 3rd of October 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 75397 in a couple of months time? Which of the 10 Minifigures are you looking forward to getting to the most? Is that $499.99 / €549.99 / £429.99 price tag a bit too high for the returning LEGO Sail Barge? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.
- LEGO Star Wars 40755 Imperial Dropship VS Rebel Scout Speeder Rumoured For October 2024
2024 has been a massive year for LEGO Star Wars as the theme has celebrated 25 years of existence with a range of exclusive anniversary sets. Across these sets a total of eight exclusive anniversary Minifigures have appeared including in the model we're talking about today of 40755 Imperial Dropship VS Rebel Scout Speeder. The 8+ set includes our eighth and final anniversary Minifigure of the QT-KT astrodroid once it releases on the 1st of October 2024. QT-KT was a member of the D-Squad during the Clone Wars and was originally created as a character/droid in memory of Katie Johnson to raise awareness of pediatric illness. The 'droid with the heart of gold' appears in 40755 in its mainly pink colouring along with a couple of finer details in white and grey. Along with QT-KT, six other Minifigures are included of three Stormtroopers and three Rebel Troopers respectively. Unsurprisingly, the Stormtroopers are associated with the Imperial Dropship and the Rebel Scout troopers with the speeder which are both included in the 383-piece build. For a long time, 40755 has been described as 'the 25th-anniversary set' and that's no surprise as the 2024 model basically combines two classic LEGO Star Wars sets which released back in 2008. These are 7667 Imperial Dropship and 7668 Rebel Scout Speeder. The two vehicles are in 40755 but a lot more detailed and updated with added blasters, thrusters, prints and much more. 40755 Imperial Dropship VS Rebel Scout Speeder Set Name - Imperial Dropship VS Rebel Scout Speeder Set Number - 40755 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 383 Price - $TBC / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st October 2024 40755 Imperial Dropship VS Rebel Scout Speeder releases on the 1st of October 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 40755 in a couple of months time? Do you own either 7667 or 7668 from back in 2008? What has been your favourite 25th anniversary Minifigures? - LEGO Ideas 21352 Disney 100 Celebration Rumoured For October 2024
Three more LEGO Ideas sets are still expected to be released in the remaining months of 2024 including two Disney-based models. One of these we've already covered of 21351 The Nightmare Before Christmas but the other continues to celebrate Disney's big birthday celebrations. In particular, this is 21352 Disney 100 Celebration which releases on the 1st of October 2024 with 1,103 pieces included for a retail price of $99.99. The model is based on 2A2A's winning submission in LEGOs Disney 100 celebrations which took place last year. The contest aimed to recreate even more Disney magic in LEGO form and round off a fantastic few years for both LEGO and Disney. All submissions for the contest had to be between 50 and 800 pieces, demonstrating how the LEGO designers have been pretty busy adding new details, builds and play functions to the 18+ model. At the centre of the original idea submission is a brick-built version of Mickey Mouse as the sorcerer's apprentice. He's complete with his blue wizard's hat, red robes and plenty of prints to capture his cute and cheerful expressions. Both his arms and white gloves are extended to the side as if he's creating the rest of the set using his magical powers. In front of the large brick-built mouse are many mini-icons, characters and scenes from iconic Disney movies and franchises. There's Belle and the magic red rose from Beauty and the Beast, Ariel, Flounder and Sebastian, riding a wave from the Little Mermaid, and Pride Rock from the Lion King. No Lion King characters were included in the original submission but 2024 has already shown that LEGO isn't scared to dip its toe into the 30-year-old Disney classic. Continuing on with the original features of the set, there's Sultan's palace and the flying Carpet from Aladdin, the Pumpkin coach from Cinderella, Stitch riding the wave on his red surfboard from Lilo and Stitch, Elsa from Frozen working the ice magic and finally Pinocchio and the wooden raft which is from the chase with whale Monstro. A range of fun and iconic mini builds which includes a total of six Minifigures in the original 2023 submission. 21352 Disney 100 Celebration Set Name - Disney 100 Celebration Set Number - 21352 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 1,103 Price - $99.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st October 2024 21352 Disney 100 Celebration releases on the 1st of October 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 21352 in a couple of months time? What mini-icons, characters and scenes do you hope are included in the LEGO Ideas model? Will LEGO include a couple more Minifigures at that $100 price tag? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.
- LEGO Harry Potter Rumoured January 2025 Sets | Hogwarts Castle, Diagon Alley, Malfoy Manor + More
As we eagerly await the final LEGO Harry Potter set of 2024 of 76437 The Burrow: Collectors Edition, the first rumours about the themes 2025 lineup have appeared. Like the last few years, the LEGO Harry Potter theme will continue to have two waves in a year: a winter and a summer one. 2025s winter LEGO Harry Potter wave will consist of a total of seven sets all releasing on the 1st of January 2025. 2024 introduced a brand new modular system for the LEGO Harry Potter system and this January 2025 will see a couple more additions. These include 76441 Hogwarts Castle: Dueling Club, 76443 Hogwarts Castle: Charms Class and 76447 Hogwarts Castle: Flying Lessons. The latter of the three is the most expensive at $79.99 for 651 pieces. The wave also features a brand new 18+ model of 76444 Diagon Alley: Wizarding Shops, a brand new brick-built Knight Bus under the set number 76446 and our first iteration of Hagrid's Motrocyle in LEGO form with 76442. But the most exciting set of them all has to be 76453 Malfoy Manor which sees a prominent location from the Deathly Hallows appear in brick-built LEGO form for the very first time for $150. 76441 Hogwarts Castle: Dueling Club Our first of three models adding to the biggest LEGO Hogwarts modular system yet is 76441 Hogwarts Castle: Dueling Club. The set will be based on the dueling club set up by Gilderoy Lockhart in the second film the Chamber of Secrets. 76441 will become the smallest addition so far to the new Hogwarts Castle as it'll include only 158 piece for a relatively high price of $24.99. The high price-per-piece ratio may be because of the amount of Minifigures included in the January 2025 set. Characters such as Gilderoy Lockhart, Severus Snape, Draco Malfoy, Justin Finch-Fletchley and of course, Harry Potter himself play an important part in this scene. They could all be included along with the snake and of course, the main build of 76441 which will be the duelling platform similar to that seen in 76389 Chamber of Secrets. Set Name - Hogwarts Castle: Dueling Club Set Number - 76441 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 158 Price - $24.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 76442 Hagrid's Motorcycle The cheapest set of the wave is 76442 Hagrid's Motorcycle which is the first brick-built recreation of Hagrid's Motorcycle. The playset will see the main motorcycle build attached with the sidecar for Harry to sit in. For 204 pieces and a retail price of $19.99, theres also the possibility of a couple of play features such as the decoupling of the motorcycle with the sidecar, the net and the dragon fire as Hagrid looks to lead Harry to safety. Only two minifigures will be included: Harry Potter and Hagrid. If we're lucky we may even see a new version of Hagrid printed with his motorcycle goggles. Harry will obviously be based on his appearance in this scene/his usual appearance for LEGO Harry Potter sets based on the Deathly Hallows. Set Name - Hagrid's Motorcycle Set Number - 76442 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 204 Price - $19.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 76443 Hogwarts Castle: Charms Class The Charms Class will be the next addition to the LEGO Harry Potter modular Hogwarts system. 76443 includes a total of 617 pieces retailing for $49.99. The larger classroom and higher piece count suggests this will be a pretty substantial and important expansion to the Hogwarts system. In particular, it'll most likely expand upon the 'slots' seen in Junes 76435 Hogwarts Castle: The Great Hall. The Charms classroom was last seen in LEGO form with the Hogwarts Moments Series in 2020. 76443 Hogwarts Castle: Charms Class will be similar but fully enclosed and likely a lot more detailed. The likes of a blackboard, a bookshelf and a fireplace, along with a variety of furniture for the students are likely to be included. We'll also see the Charms teacher Professor Flitwick as a Minifigure along with a couple of Hogwarts students. Set Name - Hogwarts Castle: Charms Class Set Number - 76443 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 617 Price - $49.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 76444 Diagon Alley: Wizarding Shops Rather than an expansion in Minifigure scale, 76444 Diagon Alley: Wizarding Shops will be exploring the microscale world as an expansion to 76419 Hogwarts Castle and Grounds. Similar to 76419, 76444 and its selection of iconic shops located in Diagon Alley will sit on a black base/display stand. 2,750 pieces for $199.99 suggests plenty of details in this smaller form along with plenty of shops and possibly the wizarding bank Gringotts. Set Name - Diagon Alley: Wizarding Shops Set Number - 76444 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 2,750 Price - $199.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 76446 The Knight Bus 5 years ago since its last brick-built iteration, the Knight Bus will return in LEGO form under the set number 76446. 2019s version included 403 pieces suggesting a slightly bigger build as 76446 includes 499 pieces for $49.99. We may possibly be seeing an eight-wide iteration of the vehicle similar to LEGO Speed Champions which made the switch a couple of years ago. The Minifigure lineup will consist of Stan Shunpike and Ernie Prang who may be exclusive along with the usual inclusion of Harry Potter himself. Set Name - The Knight Bus Set Number - 76446 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 499 Price - $49.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 76447 Hogwarts Castle: Flying Lessons Our third and final LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts set of this wave is 76447 Hogwarts Castle: Flying Lessons. It is the most expensive of the three retailing for $79.99 with a total of 651 pieces. A set similar to 76447 released back in 2021 but this was much smaller suggesting a much bigger backdrop and Hogwarts expansion in 76447. Along with the new additions of the LEGO Hogwarts modular system, we'll also see plenty of quidditch accessories in LEGO form almost like a very expensive parts pack. Madam Hooch is almost guaranteed to be included as a Minifigure along with prominent characters like Harry, Draco and Neville in that first flying scene in the first movie. A couple of different quidditch torsos and legs may also be included if we're lucky. Set Name - Hogwarts Castle: Flying Lessons Set Number - 76447 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 651 Price - $79.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 76453 Malfoy Manor Last but not least we have 76453 Malfoy Manor which for 1,601 pieces will retail for $149.99 from the 1st of January 2025. Many fans have been asking for the estate of Draco's prants and it will finally arrive in LEGO form at the start of next year. The location is extremely prominent in the Deathly Hallows so there are many scenes LEGO can base the set on. For the price and piece count, we expect an open facade at the back similar to 76408 12 Grimmauld Place. LEGO will aim to include as much playability as possible for a set that will most likely have the age range of 10+. Nine Minifigures were included in 76408 and we expect roughly the same amount in 76453. These could include the likes of Harry, Ron, Hermione, Dobby, Luna, Griphook, Mr. Olivander, Bellatrix and members of the Malfoy family. Set Name - Malfoy Manor Set Number - 76453 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 1,601 Price - $149.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 All seven of these LEGO Harry Potter sets release on the 1st of January 2025 but what do you think? What is your favourite and least favourite set of the wave? Will you be expanding your LEGO Hogwarts further this Winter? Are you happy to be finally getting Malfoy Manor in LEGO form? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.
- Are More LEGO The Lord Of The Rings Sets Coming in 2025?
LEGO and Lord Of The Rings have been extremely successful from their first introduction as a fully fledge theme in 2012 to expensive yet highly detailed 18+ LEGO Icons D2Cs over the past couple of years. Just those two sets of 10316 The Lord Of The Rings: Rivendell and 10333 The Lord Of The Rings: Barad-Dûr has been popular enough to outshine many of LEGO's existing themes. So the big question on many fans' lips is will we be getting another LEGO Lord Of The Rings set under the LEGO Icons line again in 2025? Or will LEGO finally revive the theme 10 years after its last set released? Early rumours indicate that LEGO will continue with the unofficial LEGO Lord Of The Rings theme of releasing a set based on the trilogy under the LEGO Icons theme. These larger D2C sets seem to be more profitable for LEGO than our smaller, playsets so it's no surprise to see the Danish toy maker continue with this very new tradition. However, there is still hope for 2026 and a fully-fledged LOTR theme with the likes of Rings of Power, the animated Rohim show and upcoming Gollum movies all creating hype for Tolkien fans. The 2025 LEGO Icons Lord of The Rings set is expected to release in the first half of the year similar to the previous two sets of 10316 and 10333. Currently, two rumours about what the set could be exist, both based on the printed Middle Earth map which appeared in 2023's Rivendell set. Minas Tirith Minas Tirith is the capital city of Gondor in J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord Of The Rings novel and seems the most likely option for a 2025 LOTR D2C. The iconic city has never appeared in brick-built form before and would therefore be extremely welcomed by LEGO Lord Of The Rings fans. However, the city is huge so a Minifigure scale model would be very, very expensive unless LEGO just included a small section or went with a microscale form. Bag End Bag End has been hinted at by Instagram user tandnbricks who rightly predicted Barad-Dûr last year. The underground dwelling of the Hobbits Bilbo and Frodo Baggins has to be one of if not the iconic location in Lord Of The Rings. LEGO producing Bag End would further add to its detailed and very different collection of LOTR LEGO Icons sets. It would also be slightly smaller and more affordable than the previous two, appealing to more fans and possibly resulting in more sales and profit for the toy manufacturer. That's all we have to speculate about LEGO Lord Of The Rings in 2025 but what do you think? Will we be getting another LEGO Icons 18+ LOTR model? What do you hope the set is? What would be a reasonable price considering the prices of both 10316 and 10333? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.
- LEGO DC 76328 Batman: The Classic TV Series Batmobile Rumoured For October 2024
We've already had our first LEGO DC rumours for 2025 but at least one set still needs to release this year for the Superheros theme. In particular, it is a brand new 18+ D2C model for the LEGO DC theme of 76328 Batman: The Classic TV Series Batmobile. The set releases on the 1st of October 2024 with 1,822 pieces included for a retail price of $149.99. LEGO DC and LEGO Batman models based on the Classic TV series have appeared plenty of times before in brick-built LEGO form. The last of these was 76188 Batman Classic TV Series Batmobile which released back in 2021 for just $30. Obviously, 2024s 76328 will be much bigger with a total of 1,822 pieces used to create the Batmobile which comes with an 18+display and sadly just a singular Minifigure of Batman. The rumoured is likely to be similar to another LEGO DC D2C of 76139 1989 Batmobile. Even though 76328 includes almost half the piece count of 76139, this is likely because the 1989 Batmobile includes a roof compared to the Classic TV Series version of the vehicle which doesn't. Instead, it includes details and lines of red along with a funky front end, a translucent windscreen, some printed bat signs and much more. 76328 Batman: The Classic TV Series Batmobile Set Name - Batman: The Classic TV Series Batmobile Set Number - 76328 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 1,822 Price - $149.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st October 2024 76328 Batman: The Classic TV Series Batmobile releases on the 1st of October 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 76328 in a couple of months time? Whats been your favourite LEGO Batman set for 2024? And what are you hoping for from the LEGO DC theme in 2025? - Everything You Need to Know About LEGO Harry Potter 76437 The Burrow: Collectors Edition | September 2024
Four days ago, the 31st of July 2024, marked Harry Potter's 44th birthday and also marked our first leaked look at the final LEGO Harry Potter set of the year. In particular, this is the second LEGO Harry Potter 18+ D2C of 2024 of 76437 The Burrow: Collectors Edition which hits shelves in exactly a months time. It will retail for a total of $259.99 / €259.99 / £219.99 with 2,405 pieces making it the biggest and most detailed brick built of the Burrow house to date. The last LEGO version of the Weasley's House was released in 2020 of 75980 Attack on the Burrow but avid LEGO fans will know we've been waiting for a D2C version of the iconic building since February 2023. This is because an 18+ collectors style Burrow appeared in the infamous survey leak along with the 18+ set of 76429 Talking Sorting Hat which released in March. Both sets clearly went down well as we're expecting 76437 The Burrow: Collectors Edition to release on the 1st of September 2024. This brand-new brick version of The Burrow is much bigger and more detailed than any of the previous versions. The house is fully enclosed but is built across many floors with different colourful and random rooms included on each floor. Some exciting and interesting building techniques are used, particularly to create the house in a sliding, rickety motion. The Burrow also includes plenty of hinge connections to open up the house and access the hidden interior details and rooms. The full, detailed interior includes Fred and George's room, the kitchen, the toilet, the attic, Percy's room and much more according to reliable Youtuber Brick Clicker. Being an 18+ set, no stickers are luckily included and instead replaced by exclusive prints. Quidditch team logos, posters and bedding are some of the main cool Harry Potter prints in this September 2024 LEGO set. A small garden with pigs is also attached to the brick-built Burrow along with a cool play feature where the dishes can magically wash themselves in that busy and detailed kitchen of the Weasleys. The biggest Burrow yet, which reportedly measures 50cm high, isn't complete without a stellar Minifigure lineup. Current rumours suggest that 76937 will include as many as 10 Minifigures of Molly, Arthur, Ron, Ginny, Fred and George, Percy, Charlie, Bill and - of course - Harry. 76437 The Burrow: Collectors Edition Set Name - The Burrow: Collectors Edition Set Number - 76437 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 2,405 Price - $259.99 / €259.99 / £219.99 Release Date - 1st September 2024 76437 The Burrow: Collectors Edition releases on the 1st of September but what do you think? Will you be purchasing the biggest and best version of the Burrow in just a months time? What are you looking forward to most about the 18+ model? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

- LEGO Halloween Set 40721 Halloween Barn Officially Revealed | September 2024
We're still in the middle of the warmest time of the year but in less than a couple of months we'll be in a brand new season - the spookiest of all seasons! That's right, in just a month's time LEGO will be releasing their Halloween-themed set for 2024 of 40721 Halloween Barn. The 8+ model launches on the 1st of September 2024 for $14.99 / €14.99 / £12.99 with a total of 205 pieces included. We've already had images of the Halloween-themed set for a few weeks now but today LEGO officially presented the September 2024 model. The spooky set is, as the name suggests, a Halloween-infected barn which has come to life in the middle of the night. We only really get an outline of the barn rather than an interior but this is still packed full of scary fun. A single Minifigure of a classic LEGO skeleton is also included. The barn is coloured in darkness with different shades of green and brown. A bat sits on top of the barn with the main window hiding a large printed yellow eye. The purple doors of the barn also seem to be alive with a smaller round 1x1 printed eye. These can be opened to reveal the barns mouth with sharp white teeth and a small red tongue hungry for its next LEGO Minifigure victim. 40721 Halloween Barn Set Name - Halloween Barn Set Number - 40721 Ages - 8+ Piece Count - 205 Price - $14.99 / €14.99 / £12.99 Release Date - 1st September 2024 40721 Halloween Barn releases on the 1st of September 2024 but what do you think? - August 2024 LEGO Promotional/GWP Set News: Everything We Know
August is the month of holidays, beaches, sunshine and many, many LEGO sets releasing. From licensed themes such as Marvel and Star Wars to homegrown brands such as DREAMZzz and Technic, the 1st of August 2024 is set to be a busy day for LEGO fans, especially with some new and returning promotional items. August the 1st 2024 marks the release of plenty of new and exciting LEGO Technic models including the first-ever promo for the theme. This is 6535735 P1 Logo which coincides with the brand new LEGO Technic Supercar model of 42172 McLaren P1. The other nonlicensed theme we mentioned earlier of LEGO DREAMZzz will also see some promos of its own starting from this date. 40712 Micro Rocket Launch Pad will also be available from the 1st of August 2024 as we see the return of a popular LEGO GWP from earlier in the year. It's likely we'll see more returning promos possibly throughout August but definitely during the rest of 2024. But August also sees the launch of a brand new LEGO Creator 3in1 GWP of 40691 Mythical Pegasus. A very exciting start to the eighth month of the year with three promos available from the 1st of August 2024 but here's what we know so far for August 2024's full selection of GWPs: 6535735 P1 Logo August the 1st 2024 marks the release of this year's flagship LEGO Technic Supercar model of 42172 McLaren P1. The 18+ set will have a corresponding GWP of 6535735 P1 Logo becoming the first LEGO Technic GWP ever. The set itself consists of a stylized brick-built McLaren P1 logo with a crank mechanism to rotate the logo. This makes it a great display piece to put alongside the brick-built model car but it will only be available from the 1st to the 7th of August 2024. It will also only be available with purchases of 42172 McLaren P1 rather than all LEGO Technic sets and you will not be able to stack other LEGO promotional items with the purchase of the 18+ model 42172 McLaren P1. Set Name - P1 Logo Set Number - 6535735 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 178 Price - GWP of 42172 McLaren P1 Release Date - 1st August - 7th August 2024 40712 Microscale Rocket Launchpad 2024 has been the year for LEGO and space so it's no surprise to see a space-themed GWP returning after it initially debuted in February. In particular, this is the LEGO Classic Space model of 40712 Microscale Rocket Launchpad. The model was previously available with any purchases over $200 and this will happen once again starting from the 1st of August 2024 until the 7th of August 2024. The set itself is a nod to some classic LEGO space sets such as 6950 Mobile Rocket Transport , 6971 Inter-Galactic Command Base and 920 Alpha-1 Rocket Base . However, this time they are built in a much smaller, microscale way allowing two LEGO Classic Space baby Minifigures to be included. These are a blue version and a white version which are small enough to fit inside the spaceship included in 40712. The LEGO Creator 3in1 set will be available starting from the 19th of August 2024 for a currently unknown threshold. Being an unlicensed model, there is a possibility that the set is only available with unlicensed themes such as LEGO Creator 3in1 itself and LEGO City for example. A colourful Mythical Pegasus is the main build of the set coming in white, purple, blue, and light blue as its mystical and fantasy-like colour scheme. The creature also includes brick-built wings as part of its 278 pieces along with a brown column so that it can be nicely displayed. 40691 is also a LEGO Creator 3in1 model so the Mythical Pegasus is only one of three different builds with the other two models being a dragon and a mythical bird. - New LEGO Theme LEGO Wednesday Rumoured For October 2024 | 76780 + 76781
Just yesterday we kept you up to date with the latest information about the brand new LEGO Wicked theme but that isn't the only new license launching in brick-built form on the 1st of October 2024. Along with four sets for the LEGO Fortnite and LEGO Wicked themes respectively, the popular Netflix show Wednesday will also become a fully-fledged LEGO theme from the start of October with two licensed brick-built models. Wednesday itself debuted on Netflix back in 2022 and since then has become the third most successful Netflix series of all time behind Squid Game and Stranger Things. The series is a spin-off of the original 1991 film The Addams Family, focusing on the daughter of the family who is unsurprisingly called Wednesday. Wednesday herself is played by Jenna Ortega and will be appearing as a minidoll in one of the two sets rumoured to kick off this brand-new theme. In particular, this is the only Minifigure scale set of the wave of 76781 Wednesday's Bedroom which retails for $89.99 / €89.99 / £TBC with a total of 750 pieces included. Along with Wednesday Addams herself, Enid Sinclair is included as an exclusive minidoll in 76781 and a new piece/mould is used for the Thing. As the name suggests, the set will be a brick-built recreation of Wednesday's Bedroom which she shares with Enid at Nevermore Academy, a boarding school for monstrous outsiders. The iconic round window will likely be the centerpiece of the model along with the usual furniture for a bedroom. Hopefully, a couple of play features are also included to recreate scenes from the popular Netflix series. And the other of the two sets is another buildable characters model of 76780 Buildable Wednesday, Enid & Thing. All three of the main characters of the series are included for a total of $49.99 / €49.99 / £TBC with 702 pieces included. This is a very reasonable price but many fans, including ourselves, would have liked to have seen another scene or location recreated from the show to go alongside 76781. 76780 Buildable Wednesday, Enid & Thing Set Name - Buildable Wednesday, Enid & Thing Set Number - 76780 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 702 Price - $49.99 / €49.99 / £TBC Release Date - 1st October 2024 76781 Wednesday's Bedroom Set Name - Wednesday's Bedroom Set Number - 76781 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 750 Price - $89.99 / €89.99 / £TBC Release Date - 1st October 2024 The brand new LEGO Wednesday theme launches on the 1st of October 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing any of the sets in a couple of months time? Would you have preferred Minifigures rather than minidolls for this licensed theme? What other Netflix series would you like to see in brick-built LEGO form? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.
- Four LEGO Wicked Sets Rumoured For October 2024 | 75681, 75682, 75683 + 75684
The majority of LEGO sets for 2024 have already been revealed and released but the second half of this year is still reportedly bringing three brand-new themes to the LEGO universe. One of these, LEGO Fortnite, has already been revealed whilst another, LEGO Wicked has already been teased by LEGO with an expected official reveal any day now. That's right, the iconic Westend musical Wicked will have its own LEGO theme starting on the 1st of October 2024. The musical was first performed over 20 years ago on the 10th of June 2003 but has continued to grow in popularity year on year. Wicked will become the first LEGO theme to be based on Broadway talent yet it will also tie into the upcoming Wicked movie. The highly anticipated film comes out later this year on the 27th of November 2024 - just under two months before four LEGO-branded Wicked sets hit shelves. The film adaptation will be split into two parts due to the story's complexity and length. Part 1 is releasing this November with part 2 expected to release as early as 2025. This first wave of LEGO sets will be based on Wicked Part 1 but we expect LEGO to also cover the second part of the adaptation. As we've already mentioned, the LEGO Wicked theme will kick off with a total of four sets ranging from $30 to $100. But as both a previous LEGO press release states and the LEGO shop@home site teases, the LEGO Wicked theme will include minidolls rather than Minifigures. We already have our first images of the two main characters Elphaba and Glinda with side characters such as Madame Morrible also expected to appear in the brick-built models. Thanks to the reliable YouTuber Brick Clicker, we now have set names for the four LEGO Wicked sets which are all between the age ranges 7-9. Our first set is the smallest of the wave with 75681 The Palace Boat Trip retailing for a respectable price of $29.99 for 304 pieces. The name suggests a brick-built boat is the set's main build and it'll probably be quite a recognizable and colourful boat in the upcoming film. LEGO seems to be loving brick-built characters and figures and sadly the LEGO Wicked theme hasn't escaped this recent trend as 75682 Buildable Elphaba And Galinda will be releasing on the 1st of October 2024. The $55 set is expected to be slightly smaller than the LEGO Harry Potter model of 76393 Harry Potter & Hermione Granger with a piece count just shy of 600. Finally, we have our two biggest sets of the wave of 75683 Hidden Bedroom Box for $69.99 and 75684 Emerald City for $99.99. Both will be minidoll scale and likely to include plenty of exclusive characters along with the main two of Elphaba and Glinda. The builds themselves look to be based on iconic locations in the late 2024 film and will therefore include plenty of scenes and play features that tie into the film. 75681 The Palace Boat Trip Set Name - The Palace Boat Trip Set Number - 75681 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 304 Price - $29.99 / €29.99 / £TBC Release Date - 1st October 2024 75682 Buildable Elphaba And Galinda Set Name - Buildable Elphaba And Galinda Set Number - 75682 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 558 Price - $54.99 / €54.99 / £TBC Release Date - 1st October 2024 75683 Hidden Bedroom Box Set Name - Hidden Bedroom Box Set Number - 75683 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 740 Price - $69.99 / €69.99 / £TBC Release Date - 1st October 2024 75684 Emerald City Set Name - Emerald City Set Number - 75684 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 945 Price - $99.99 / €99.99 / £TBC Release Date - 1st October 2024 Another year and plenty more brand-new themes from LEGO with LEGO Wicked releasing on the 1st of October 2024. But what do you think of the LEGO Wicked theme? Will it be one of LEGO's most successful themes in 2024? Are you happy with LEGO's decision to use minidolls rather than Minifigures in the brand-new theme? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.
- LEGO Star Wars 75374 The Onyx Cinder Officially Revealed | August 2024
In just a couple of days, a whole wave of brand-new LEGO Star Wars sets will be hitting shelves but one set has been missing for some time. In particular, this is the Skeleton Crew Disney+ series LEGO set of 75374 The Onyx Cinder. The series was announced in May 2022 and originally scheduled for a December 2023 release but now looks to be released later this year as LEGO release a set to tie in with the new show. When Jude Law was announced to be a Jedi in an upcoming Star Wars show, a lot of hype and excitement was immediately created for the Skeleton Crew series. With the disappointment of The Acolyte, it'll be nice to see another series set in the same period as the popular Mandalorian and Ahsoka series. The show is rumoured to be about "four kids who find themselves lost in the vastness of the galaxy trying to find their way home...” but specific information is unknown. 75374 The Onyx Cinder is Skeleton Crew's official LEGO set which includes a total of 1,325 pieces for $139.99 / €139.99 / £119.99. Thanks to Youtuber MandRproductions we've already leaked images of the 10+ model but today mueller.de gave us official images of the LEGO Star Wars set which is scheduled to release on the 1st of August 2024. A total of five Minifigures of Jude Law's character Jod, Wim, Fern, KB and Neel are included which look to be the main characters of the upcoming Disney+ series. The main and only build of the 2024 model is The Onyx Cinder which is a brand new spaceship for the Star Wars universe and looks to be the main one in the Skeleton Crew series. It is mainly coloured grey but has a couple of hints of white and tan coloured pieces along with some stickers for added details. A lever can be moved forward to move the large round brick-built engines from landing mode to flying mode. The large grey spaceship obviously includes a packed interior with plenty of sections that are open from the outside so that our five Minifigures can gain access. There's a cockpit, plenty of storage areas, a seating area complete with a table and four seats, a small cooking area and a portable bed. A ramp can also be pulled down to allow our Minifigures further access to the interior. 75374 The Onyx Cinder Set Name - The Onyx Cinder Set Number - 75374 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 1,325 Price - $139.99 / €139.99 / £119.99 Release Date - 1st August 2024 75374 The Onyx Cinder releases on the 1st of August 2024 but what do you think? The set will mainly focus on the fireplace which connects to the magical Floo Network used in the Wizarding World. Harry arrives at Borgin & Burkes when he uses the Floo Network for the first time and it's likely he'll be included as the single Minifigure in 40695 along with the fireplace and a fun play feature. 40695 Borgin & Burkes: The Floo Network GWP Set Name - Borgin & Burkes: The Floo Network GWP Set Number - 40695 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 190 Price - TBC GWP Release Date - 1st September 2024 40695 Borgin & Burkes: The Floo Network GWP releases on the 1st of September 2024 but what do you think? - LEGO Super Mario 71438 Super Mario World: Mario & Yoshi Officially Revealed | October 2024
Our final LEGO SDCC reveal is this year's LEGO Super Mario 18+ D2C of 71438 Super Mario World: Mario & Yoshi. The LEGO Super Mario theme has still not produced Minifigures, sticking with the Digfig playsets, but the licensed themes D2Cs bring a range of Mario characters, places and games to life. This includes an 18+ model based on an earlier generation of Super Mario games of Super Mario World. 71438 is based on the world-famous plumber, this time in a 2D form riding the fictional dinosaur character of Yoshi. This was a common occurrence in the Super Mario World game so it's no surprise that LEGO has recreated such an iconic duo in their classic 2D 16-bit form. The 2D brick-built model is constructed on several levels and equipped with a mechanism and a crank as the main play feature. This enables various motion animations from the Super Mario World game: Yoshi's legs move and the green dinosaur can also stick out his tongue. The entire build of Mario and Yoshi, along with the small 16-bit landscape they navigate, is 33 studs (26 cm) wide and about 49 studs (40 cm) high. 71438 Super Mario World: Mario & Yoshi retails for $129.99 / €129.99 / £114.99 with a total of 1,215 pieces included. The display model, being a 2D recreation, can only be displayed from one side with the back showcasing all its hidden features and pieces used for the fun mechanism. LEGO has also included an action tag to make the 18+ set compatible with the LEGO Super Mario digfigs of Mario, Luigi and Peach. 71438 Super Mario World: Mario & Yoshi Set Name - Super Mario World: Mario & Yoshi Set Number - 71438 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - 1,215 Price - $129.99 / €129.99 / £114.99 Release Date - 1st October 2024 71438 Super Mario World: Mario & Yoshi releases on the 1st of October 2024 but what do you think? The model is built around the baby pig mob's birthday and includes a range of iconic brick-built Minecraft mobs. Obviously, the baby pig is included along with a Creeper, a baby zombie, a baby llama, a baby fox and a baby cat. All of these mobs have moving parts including their head, legs, arms and tail. The Creeper, along with its moveable head and legs, also includes an opening compartment on the top of its head where gunpowder can be found. - LEGO Sonic The Hedgehog 77000 Shadow The Hedgehog Officially Revealed | October 2024
The LEGO SDCC reveals just keep on coming as LEGO has officially presented our first LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog 18+ D2C. The only other Sonic D2C we've had in brick-built form is 2021s LEGO Ideas model of 21331 but on the 1st of October 2024, we'll see the release of 77000 Shadow The Hedgehog. It will retail for $69.99 / €69.99 / £59.99 with a total of 720 pieces included. Shadow first appeared in LEGO form earlier this year as a Minifigure and not long later appeared as a LEGO BrickHeadz figure alongside Knuckles. The Hedgehog that first appeared in Sonic Adventure 2 has now been recreated into a larger brick-built form of the fictional character's face. It's in a similar style to the busts and helmets seen in both the LEGO Marvel and LEGO Star Wars themes over the years. However, 77000 is slightly different with much larger, printed elements used to recreate the hedgehog's face. The model which is mainly coloured black along with a couple of hints of red captures Shadow's fierce expression well but is still somewhat odd-looking from different angles. The piece at the front of Shadows brick built face is particularly large-looking and very shiny. The whole head sits on a brick-built stand which is a mix of different shades of grey and a couple of hints of red. Once again, somewhat different to previous 18+ sets that have included a less obvious black stand. 77000 includes entirely prints with the nameplate also being entirely printed. 77000 Shadow The Hedgehog Set Name - Shadow The Hedgehog Set Number - 77000 Ages - 18+ Piece Count - 720 Price - $69.99 / €69.99 / £59.99 Release Date - 1st October 2024 77000 Shadow The Hedgehog releases on the 1st of October 2024 but what do you think?
