  • LEGO DC 76302 Superman Mech VS Lex Luthor Rumoured For January 2025

For the first time since 2020, we'll finally be getting a LEGO DC model that isn't 100% Batman-centric. This will be one of the three LEGO DC sets releasing on the 1st of January 2025 as the superheroes theme continues to slowly get a couple more sets year after year. This model in particular is 76302 Superman Mech VS Lex Luthor which retails for $14.99 / €14.99 / £12.99 with a total of 120 pieces included. As the name suggests, we are getting another mech-based build with it this time being for the superhero from the fictional planet Krypton. The mech build is like every other LEGO superhero-based mech but this time is SuperMan themed being mainly coloured blue and red along with a brick-built yellow belt. The Superman logo remains strong in the middle of the torso of the mech and will most likely be printed onto the brick-built model. The 6+ set is basically a reverse version of 6862 Superman vs. Power Armor Lex with 2025s set giving the LEGO mech to Superman rather than Lex Luther. Either way though, just like 6862, 76302 Superman Mech VS Lex Luthor includes both Superman and an exclusive Lex Luther as Minifigures which haven't been seen in LEGO form for a long time. 76302 Superman Mech VS Lex Luthor Set Name - Superman Mech VS Lex Luthor Set Number - 76302 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - 120 Price - $14.99 / €14.99 / £12.99 Release Date - 1st January 2025 76302 Superman Mech VS Lex Luthor releases on the 1st of January 2025 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 76302 in a couple of months time? What other non-Batman-themed LEGO DC sets would you like to see in 2025 and beyond? • LEGO Icons 40729 Shackleton's Lifeboat GWP Officially Revealed | 29th November 2024

After the reveal of 10335 The Endurance, LEGO have now also revealed the corresponding Gift With Purchase for one of the biggest LEGO sets of the year. As with every year, LEGO will be celebrating this year's Black Friday as the start of the Christmas Shopping season with many discounts, double Insiders points and brand new LEGO sets and promotional items. The already mentioned 10335 is this year's exclusive Black Friday model and 40729 Shackleton's Lifeboat GWP will also be available during one of the busiest weekends of the year. The Icons branded promotional set includes a total of 232 pieces and will be available with purchases of 10335 from the start of Black Friday weekend, the 29th of November 2024. Unfortunately, it will only last until the 2nd of December 2024 and you'll obviously have to spend $270 to get 40729 alongside 10335. Whilst 10335 recreates Sir Ernest Shackleton's legendary 1914 Antarctic expedition, 40729 depicts the boat that Shackleton and five crew members used to complete a journey of 800 miles from Elephant Island in the South Shetland Islands through the Southern Ocean to South Georgia. A much smaller boat than the original vessel for the mission of the Endurance but one which survived many dangers, including a near capsizing, at sea. The brick-built version of Shackleton's Lifeboat is Minifigure scale with both captain Sir Ernest Shackleton and photographer Frank Hurley being included as the exclusive figures in the promotional item. They can both fit on top of the brick-built lifeboat which is mainly white along with a tan deck and some black outlining. The recreated wooden vessel can then sit on a brick-built sleigh to navigate across the treacherous Antarctic conditions. Other builds and accessories include a camera, a stove, and some oars. 40729 Shackleton's Lifeboat Set Name - Shackleton's Lifeboat Set Number - 40729 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 232 Price - GWP of 10335 The Endurance Ship Release Date - 29th November - 2nd December 2024 40729 Shackleton's Lifeboat releases alongside 10335 The Endurance Ship on the 29th of November 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing both sets on Black Friday weekend? What other iconic ships and vehicles would you like to see from the LEGO Icons theme? • LEGO Icons 10335 The Endurance Officially Revealed | November 2024

One of the last LEGO sets of 2024 has been officially revealed and, not only is it a big model, its a beautifully crafted display set. In particular, this is our final LEGO Icons set of the year and this years Black Friday exclusive model. Black Friday always marks the start of Christmas shopping with plenty of sales, exclusive offers and discounts, and, just like the last few years, the launch of this brand new LEGO set. Last year we witnessed the release of the hugely popular LEGO Marvel 76279 Avengers Tower and in 2024 we're getting 10335 The Endurance. The LEGO Icons 18+ model will be in the top 10 largest LEGO sets this year with 3,011 pieces included for a retail price of $269.99 / €269.99 / £229.99. 10335 hits shelves on Black Friday, the 29th of November 2024, alongside an exclusive Gift With Purchase of 40729 Shackleton's Lifeboat. The historical Endurance ship is most famously associated with Sir Ernest Shackleton's legendary 1914 Antarctic expedition, which is considered one of the greatest survival stories in exploration history. During the expedition to cross Antarctica, the ship became trapped in the ice of the Weddell Sea forcing Shackleton and his crew to abandon ship. Despite this, Shackleton's leadership ensured all 28 men survived and made it, on foot, to safety. Now LEGO are paying homage to this historical ship with 10335 which is a beautiful, highly detailed and educational build as seen from today's official presentation of the set. LEGO has previously paid tribute to historical ships such as 10294 LEGO Titanic. This brick-built 18+ model was obviously much, much larger with a total of 9,090 pieces included whilst 10335 only includes 3,011 yet is still captured to such a high level of detail in the same microscale form. The Endurance ship's hull is completely black whilst the main deck and superstructure are in white, brown and sand, with gold accents to give it a nice contrast. The deck contains multiple levels, connected by brick-built stairs and with removable sections to allow access to the interior cabins and steam engine. Covering the deck and all its hidden details are the three towering masts of the majestic ship which are made using ten LEGO fabric sails. The overall model, placed on a brown brick-built display stand attached to a printed information plaque, measures over 47 cm (18.5 inches) high, 80 cm (31.5 inches) long and 24 cm (9.5 inches) wide. Other noticeable details of the 18+ model include 4 detachable lifeboats, a chained bower anchor and a ship’s wheel that operates the rudder. 10335 The Endurance Set Name - The Endurance Set Number - 10335 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 3,011 Price - $259.99 / €259.99 / £219.99 Release Date - 29th November 2024 10335 The Endurance releases on the 29th of November 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 10335 this Black Friday? What other historical ships and vehicles would you like to see in brick-built form? What has been your favourite LEGO Icons set of 2024? • LEGO Monkie Kid January 2025 Sets Officially Revealed | 80065 + 80066

2025 will mark LEGO Monkie Kid's sixth year in production and on our shelves and yet the unlicensed theme, based on a lot of Chinese mythology and fantasy, continues to remain strong in LEGO's large portfolio. With that said, however, only two sets will be releasing on the 1st of January 2025 for the theme making it the smallest LEGO Monkie Kid wave yet. These two sets of 80065 Erlang's Celestial Mech and 80066 Mythical Creature Qilin have been officially revealed today at CIIE (China International Import Expo) in Shanghai . Even with these two sets being the only models of the January 2025 wave, they make up a wave that will cost $180 in total. 80065 with its 806 pieces will cost $79.99 and 80066 will cost $99.99, suggesting a noticeable shift in LEGO Monkie Kid's lineup in 2025 with much cheaper sets presumably coming in its Summer wave of models. 80065 Erlang's Celestial Mech Similar to other unlicensed LEGO themes, such as DREAMZzz and NINJAGO, LEGO Monkie Kid loves its mechs and the same can be said here with 80065 Erlang's Celestial Mech. As the name suggests, the $79.99 set is a towering Celestial Mech based on the character of Erlang Shen in Chinese mythology. The brick-built mech itself is of a large size and is coloured a mix of gold, white and grey. The model includes the usual moveable arms, legs, head and overall body with it holding a brick-built accessory of a large powerful lance in its hand. Along with the mech and a small flying vehicle for Monkie Kid, a total of five Minifigures are included of Monkie Kid, Monkey King, Mr. Tang, Celestial General and the returning Erlang Shen. Set Name - Erlang's Celestial Mech Set Number - 80065 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 806 Price - $79.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 80066 Mythical Creature Qilin 80066 Mythical Creature Qilin is the larger of the two sets but only in the retail price as it costs $99.99 for only 791 pieces. The build for the legendary mythical creature of the Qilin is the star of this set and it's been beautifully recreated. The build which is mainly red, gold and turquoise is a mixture of curved, organic shapes and rigid armour-like details to create the mythical create which is often known as the 'Chinese Unicorn'. Along with the mighty Mythical Creature Qilin, a small sales stand for the Minifigure Pigsy is also included. Pigsy is one of five Minifigures included in 80066 with the other four being Monkie Kid, Mei, Sandy and another Celestial General alongside the blue and orange cat Mo. Set Name - Mythical Creature Qilin Set Number - 80066 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 791 Price - $99.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 Both of these LEGO Monkie Kid sets release on the 1st of January 2025 but what do you think? 2025 is the Year of the Snake and to celebrate another brand new Lunar Year LEGO will be releasing another range of Chinese culture based models. The first of these is the usual Gift With Purchase celebrating this years Zodiac animal of 40707 Year Of The Snake. But at the CIIE in Shanghai LEGO have officially presented three brand new LEGO Chinese New Year sets that will all go on sale at the start of 2025. Here at Bricks Up, we had previously covered the rumours of two of these Lunar New Year models of 80116 Trotting Lantern and 80117 Good Fortune. Today's official presentation however have shown us another Chinese New Year model of 40813 Lucky Cat. All three models will remain exclusive to LEGO stores and LEGO shop@home and will sadly only remain in development for around a year to make way for even more Lunar New Year sets in a years time. 80116 Trotting Lantern The largest of the three sets, 80116 Trotting Lantern, features a larger brick built ornate lantern as the centrepiece, adorned with symbols of the Year of the Snake and other Chinese New Year elements. One of the coolest features of the 9+ model is the inclusion of a LEGO light brick inside the lantern which illuminates Chinese letters and symbols on the lantern wall. The mainly red and gold lantern can also be opened up to reveal small Minifigure scale scenes inside. Here, typical Lunar New Year rituals are re-enacted with the five Minifigures included in 80116 including a Minifigure with a traditional Year of the Snake headpiece. Another cool addition for the Minifigures of this set is our first official LEGO dumpling. A brand new piece has been made to recreate the popular holiday dish. Set Name - Trotting Lantern Set Number - 80116 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 1,295 Price - $129.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 26th December 2024/10th January 2025 80117 Good Fortune Centred around symbols of prosperity, 80117 Good Fortune includes a range of brick-built lucky charms. Each one is supposed to bring good luck for the brand new year and captures Chinese culture perfectly. These lcuky cahrms include a fan with a branch and birds, a red scroll with writing on it and the Yuan Bao gold bars. No Minifigures are included but 80117 retails for a very resonable price of $89.99 for 1,021 pieces. Set Name - Good Fortune Set Number - 80117 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 1,021 Price - $89.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 26th December 2024/10th January 2025 40813 Lucky Cat Last but not least we have one of the cutest sets of the new year of 40813 Lucky Cat. • LEGO DC 76301 Batman & The Batmobile VS. Mr. Freeze Rumoured For January 2025

If there's one thing the LEGO DC theme is best known for it's producing LEGO Batman-themed sets as we're expecting at least two more sets based on Bruce Wayne's character in 2025. Both of these will be released on the 1st of January 2025 and in today's article we'll be focusing on the smaller of the two of 76301 Batman & The Batmobile VS. Mr. Freeze. Another brick-built Batmobile and this time it'll be an extremely simplified version branded under the 4+ line of LEGO sets. This does mean it has a harsh price-to-piece ratio retailing at $19.99 / €19.99 / £17.99 with just 63 pieces included. However, a lot of those pieces are larger specialized elements to create a very simplified version of the Batmobile that is all black but includes a print Bat logo and space for a single Minifigure to sit in. Talking about Minifigures, 76301 includes two of them for that $20 price tag and these are unsurprisingly Batman and Mr. Freeze. Batman is unsurprising unexclusive whilst Mr Freeze is the same as his last appearance in LEGO form in 76274 Batman with the Batmobile vs. Harley Quinn and Mr. Freeze but with a slightly different dark grey torso. 76301 Batman & The Batmobile VS. Mr. Freeze Set Name - Batman & The Batmobile VS. Mr. Freeze Set Number - 76301 Age Range - 4+ Piece Count - 63 Price - $19.99 / €19.99 / £17.99 Release Date - 1st January 2025 76301 Batman & The Batmobile VS. Mr. Freeze releases on the 1st of January 2025 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 76301 in a couple of months time? What other LEGO Batmobiles do you own? Will LEGO finally focus less on the Batman-themed DC sets in 2025? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

  • LEGO Art 31214 LOVE Sign Rumoured For January 2025

Another action-packed year for the LEGO Art theme is beginning to draw to a close as we saw exotic animals and the never-ending depths of space to a brick-built recreation of some of the world's most historic art pieces. In 2025, the 18+ theme will continue with another recreation of some famous artwork: the LOVE pop art image by American artist Robert Indiana. In particular, this LEGO version of the letters L and O over the letters V and E in bold (LOVE) will be coming under the set 31214 LOVE Sign. The 2025 model will be one of the cheaper and smaller sets in the LEGO Art theme retailing for $79.99 / €79.99 / £TBC with a total of 791 pieces. The reproduction of the famous sculpture by Robert Indiana will likely use a lot of larger, classic system LEGO pieces rather than individual 1x1 studs seen in some of the very first LEGO Art sets. The brick-built LEGO form of the LOVE sign will capture the sculpture's famous look with the correct placement of the letters L, O, V and E. The O, in particular, will be slanted sideways so that its oblong negative space creates a line leading to the V. All of these letters will be in a bold Didone-type font so expect plenty of interesting and creative building techniques for the 18+ model that will mainly, if not all of it, be red. 31214 LOVE Sign Set Name - LOVE Sign Set Number - 31214 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 791 Price - $79.99 / €79.99 / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 31214 LOVE Sign launches on the 1st of January 2025 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 31214 in a couple of months time? Have you ever visited the LOVE sign in New York for example? What other famous pieces of art would you like to see in brick-built LEGO form? • First Leaked Images of LEGO Icons 10335 The Endurance Ship | November 2024

With November now being here, only one full month of 2024 remains and with that LEGO are preparing to wrap up another successful year with the release of this year's Black Friday model. Black Friday always marks the start of Christmas shopping with plenty of sales, exclusive offers and discounts, and, just like the last few years, the launch of a brand new exclusive LEGO set which is now closer than ever thanks to a recent leak from LEGO themselves. Last year we witnessed the release of the hugely popular LEGO Marvel 76279 Avengers Tower and in 2024 we'll be getting 10335 The Endurance Ship. The LEGO Icons 18+ model will be in the top 10 largest LEGO sets this year with 3,011 pieces included for a retail price of $259.99 / €259.99 / £219.99. 10335 hits shelves on Black Friday, the 29th of November 2024, alongside an exclusive Gift With Purchase of 40729 James Carid Boat. Now LEGO are paying homage to this historical ship with 10335 which is a beautiful, highly detailed and educational build as seen from our first image of the set. LEGO has previously paid tribute to historical ships such as 10294 LEGO Titanic. This brick-built 18+ model was obviously much, much larger with a total of 9,090 pieces included whilst 10335 only includes 3,011. The LEGO Titanic was obviously built in microscale form yet didn't miss out on the ship's iconic features throughout the 135 cm long set. The Endurance Ship is also in microscale form even though the price-to-piece ratio may seem a little harsh for a model in the smallest of brick built forms. But this price is explained due to a lot of larger, more specialised pieces included in the model such as a lot of new fabric elements and other pieces to create the ships three masts accurately. The brick-built recreation of the Endurance Ship focuses on the intricate rigging, sails, and hull design typical of early 20th-century wooden ships. The main colour of the ship is black with hints of white, brown and tan as shown in the leaked image from the LEGO shop@home Singapore page. A couple of brown, wooden-like display stands, just like the Titanic had, are also included to display the Endurance Ship along with a small printed information plaque. 10335 The Endurance Ship Set Name - The Endurance Ship Set Number - 10335 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 3,011 Price - $259.99 / €259.99 / £219.99 Release Date - 29th November 2024 10335 The Endurance Ship releases on the 29th of November 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 10335 this Black Friday? What other historical ships and vehicles would you like to see in brick-built form? What has been your favourite LEGO Icons set of 2024? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

In particular, this is a brand new Marvel-based LEGO BrickHeadz model of 40668 Captain America & Red Hulk Figures. The 10+ model includes a total of 202 pieces for the usual Double BrickHeadz pack price tag of $19.99 / €19.99 / £17.99. Our two brick-built characters, Captain America and Red Hulk, are both based on their appearance in the fourth instalment of Captain America. Sam Wilson in his suit comes with wings, his shield and his red combat goggles. Meanwhile, Red Hulk uses a heavy amount of red pieces to create the character which also includes some black hair and more muscular and built-up LEGO BrickHeadz arms. Both stand on the usual LEGO BrickHeadz black stands. 40668 Captain America & Red Hulk Figures Set Name - Captain America & Red Hulk Figures Set Number - 40668 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 202 Price - $19.99 / €19.99 / £17.99 Release Date - 1st December 2024 40668 Captain America & Red Hulk Figures releases on the 1st of December 2024 but what do you think? • Two LEGO Marvel Captain America 4 Sets Officially Revealed For December 2024 | 76292 + 76296

Captain America: Brave New World is the fourth instalment of the American superhero character Sam Wilson and was a rare Marvel film that LEGO were actually producing sets for in 2024. The film has already been pushed back multiple times but it now looks confirmed to be releasing on the 14th of February 2025 - over six months after its original release date of July 2024. The subsequent delay has also seen the delay of two LEGO sets based on the fourth Captain America film of 76292 Captain America vs. Red Hulk Battle and 76296 New Captain America Construction Figure. But today LEGO have officially revealed both of the LEGO Marvel branded models a month before they hit shelves on the 1st of December 2024. 76292 Captain America vs. Red Hulk Battle The first of these two Captain America 4 sets is the only Minifigure scale model of 76292 Captain America vs. Red Hulk Battle. The 8+ model has an extremely harsh price-per-piece ratio with a total of 223 pieces for $54.99 / €54.99 / £49.99. Luckily, LEGO have included four Minifigures of Captain America (Sam Wilson) with wings, Falcon (Joaquin Torres) also with wings, a brand new bigfig of Red Hulk and Sabra (Ruth Bat Seraph). With the Minifigures taking up a large portion of the price, and 76292 only including 223 pieces, the main build of 76292 Captain America vs. Red Hulk Battle isn't huge. A fighter jet is the main build which has an opening cockpit, hidden storage compartments and two stud shooters. In fact, Red Hulk can even hold the whole fighter jet, showcasing both its lack of size and Red Hulk's strength. Set Name - Captain America vs. Red Hulk Battle Set Number - 76292 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 223 Price - $54.99 / €54.99 / £49.99 Release Date - 1st December 2024 76296 New Captain America Construction Figure Our second set is the third LEGO Marvel Construction Figure of 2024 of 76296 New Captain America Construction Figure. The brick-built construction Figure of Sam Wilson, Captain America, is the main and only build of 76296 and follows the same style applied to other superheroes and supervillains. Captain America himself has already appeared as a LEGO Construction Figure back in 2023 with 76258 Captain America Construction Figure. Compared to 2023's model, 2024's 76296 Sam Wilson Captain America Construction Figure will retail for a slightly different price of  $34.99 / €34.99  / £29.99 and with a slightly higher piece count of 359. The main difference between the two models is that 76296 is based on the Sam Wilson version with wings along with the iconic Captain America shield and a buildable Redwing which can be attached to the figures back. Set Name - New Captain America Construction Figure Set Number - 76296 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 359 Price - $34.99 / €34.99  / £29.99 Release Date - 1st December 2024 Both 76292 Captain America vs. Red Hulk Battle and 76296 New Captain America Construction Figure launch on the 1st of December 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 76292 and 76296 in just a months time? What other Captain America-inspired LEGO sets would you like to see? Are you looking forward to the release of the fourth Captain America film in 2025? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

  • 2 LEGO Chinese New Year 2025 Sets Rumoured For January 2025 | 80116 + 80117

As 2024 comes to an end for the LEGO company, the focus is now on 2025 as two brand new Chinese New Year sets will be coming in New Year to celebrate the occasion. 2025 is the year of the Snake so we are unsurprisingly getting a GWP for this special celebration of a brick-built Snake just like 2024s was a brick-built Dragon. The promotional item in particular is 40707 Year Of The Snake which has been previously covered here at Bricks Up. But today our focus is on the other two sets for the new year of 80116 Trotting Lantern and 80117 Good Fortune. Compared to last year's selection both sets are somewhat smaller yet are still over that 1,00 piece count with 80116 being the larger of the two with 1,295 pieces and 80117 containing 1,021 pieces. Both will likely retail for over $100 but we currently don't have a confirmed rumoured retail price. 80116 Trotting Lantern The larger of the two sets 80116 Trotting Lantern likely features a large, ornate lantern as the centrepiece, adorned with symbols of the Year of the Snake and other Chinese New Year elements. We expect plenty of vibrant colours, festival Minifigures, and possibly a mechanism that makes the lantern sway or “trot,” evoking the energy of a New Year parade. Set Name - Trotting Lantern Set Number - 80116 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 1,295 Price - $TBC / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 26th December 2024/10th January 2025 80117 Good Fortune Centred around symbols of prosperity, 80117 Good Fortune may include a decorative shrine or gate with lucky red and gold accents. The set might feature traditional offerings like oranges and gold ingots, along with minifigures holding red envelopes and small Year of the Snake elements for added festivity. Plenty of new prints, festive Minifigures and more are likely to be included in both 2025 models. Set Name - Good Fortune Set Number - 80117 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 1,021 Price - $TBC / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 26th December 2024/10th January 2025 Both sets will be available from 26th December 2024 in China and parts of Europe but will become more widely for places like North America from 10th January 2025. But what do you think? Will you be purchasing both 80116 Trotting Lantern and 80117 Good Fortune in the new year? What's been your favourite Lunar New Year models in recent years? • LEGO BrickHeadz 40798 Mei The Red Panda Rumoured For January 2025

Already we're getting a LEGO BrickHeadz set of Tom & Jerry, Dumbo, Eeyore and now Mei The Red Panda from a much more recent film of Disney Pixars 2022 movie Turning Red. The coming-of-age film follows 13-year-old Mei, who turns into a giant red panda whenever she encounters any difficult emotions. The brick-built LEGO version of 40798 Mei The Red Panda looks to recreate Mei’s anthropomorphic animal state of a red panda for the usual price of $9.99 / €9.99 / £9.99. Mei's anthropomorphic state of a Red Panda will make for a very interesting brick-built character mainly coloured red and white. She has cat-shaped ears, human-like teeth, and a red tail striped with white to create an overall very cartoon-like look which I'm sure LEGO will capture very well. No accessories are likely to be included with Mei but she will be placed on the usual brick-built black base stand for LEGO BrickHeadz characters. 40798 Mei The Red Panda Set Name - Mei The Red Panda Set Number - 40798 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - TBC Price - $9.99 / €9.99 / £9.99 Release Date - 1st January 2025 40798 Mei The Red Panda releases on the 1st of January 2025 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 40798 in a couple of months time? Do you hope LEGO release more sets based on Turning Red? What other LEGO BrickHeadz characters would you like to see in 2025 and beyond? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

  • LEGO BrickHeadz 40797 Eeyore Rumoured For January 2025

One of the greatest LEGO Ideas sets of all time has to be 2021s 21326 Winnie the Pooh which brought the magic of 100 Acre Wood to brick-built LEGO form for the first time. Four years later we'll finally be seeing the release of another LEGO Winnie the Pooh-based set of a brand new LEGO BrickHeadz model based on the Disney franchise. In particular, this is 40797 Eyore retailing for the usual price of $9.99 / €9.99 / £9.99. Currently, Eeyore is the only character from 100 Acre Wood to be appearing in LEGO BrickHeadz form in 2025 but we can expect the other characters to almost definitely appear at a later date. In the meantime, 40797 will capture Eeyore in this brick-built form portraying the old grey donkey with his depressed emotions and expressions. Finer details will include his long ears, dark patch of fur and hair, and his iconic detachable tail complete with a pink bow. 40797 Eeyore Set Name - Eeyore Set Number - 40797 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - TBC Price - $9.99 / €9.99 / £9.99 Release Date - 1st January 2025 40797 Eeyore releases on the 1st of January 2025 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 40797 in a couple of months time? Do you own 2021s 21326 Winnie the Pooh? What other LEGO Disney BrickHeadz are you hoping for in 2025 and beyond? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

  • LEGO BrickHeadz 40792 Dumbo Rumoured For January 2025

The LEGO BrickHeadz theme has always introduced weird and wacky franchises, characters and films into brick-built LEGO form and that will continue into 2025. We've already covered the rumoured Tom & Jerry LEGO BrickHeadz of 40793 but also on the 1st of January 2025, we'll see the launch of 40792 Dumbo for the usual single BrickHeadz pac price of $9.99 / €9.99 / £9.99. The elephant with the enormous ears has been a staple character in Disney's history, yet it has only appeared in LEGO once. This was last year during Disney's 100th anniversary celebrations which saw the release of many highly detailed LEGO Disney models. One of these models was 43230 Walt Disney Tribute Camera which included the exclusive moulded version of Dumbo in LEGO form. In 2025 however, 40792 Dumbo will recreate Dumbo in a much larger, brick-built LEGO BrickHeadz form. Obviously, the distinctive feature of the mainly grey elephant will be those huge ears hanging from the cute brick-built face complete with a long trunk. Other details will hopefully include the small yellow hat and a red circus collar carrying a magic feather. 40792 Dumbo Set Name - Dumbo Set Number - 40792 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - TBC Price - $9.99 / €9.99 / £9.99 Release Date - 1st January 2025 40792 Dumbo releases on the 1st of January 2025 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 40792 in a couple of months time? Do you have the only LEGO form of Dumbo? What other LEGO Disney BrickHeadz are you hoping for in 2025 and beyond? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

  • LEGO Creator 40700 Christmas Train GWP Rumoured For 1st December 2024

As early as the 1st of September 2024 we saw LEGO start to release this year's festive sets including six brand new brick-built advent calendars. But as we head closer to December LEGO will continue pushing the festive fun including the release of a brand new Gift With Purchase to kick off the last month of the year. In particular, on the 1st of December 2024, we'll see the release of the promotional item 40700 Christmas Train for a currently unknown threshold. The LEGO Creator branded Christmas model includes 294 pieces suggesting a threshold around the $120-150 point for a most likely two week period depending on other Christmas promotions which will also release throughout the busy month of December. The set itself represents a small brick-built Christmas train similar to a previous seasonal GWP of 40318 Christmas Train. The 2015 model included 233 pieces so 40700 will be a slightly bigger train and this can be seen quite well. However, just like 40318, 40700 Christmas Train will not be compatible with the usual LEGO train tracks and will instead be in more of a microscale form. The main colours of the set are green and black. The two carriages of the train include the festive green colouring whilst the actual locomotive is black. However, expect plenty of smaller festive, Christmas details just like 40318 Christmas Train included a Christmas tree, plenty of snow, candy canes, Christmas gifts and much more. 40700 Christmas Train GWP Set Name - Christmas Train GWP Set Number - 40700 Age Range - 8+ Piece Count - 294 Price - TBC GWP Release Date - 1st December 2024 40700 Christmas Train GWP releases on the 1st of December 2024 but what do you think? Will you be looking to pick up this festive promotional item? What do you hope the threshold is for this LEGO Creator branded set? What LEGO sets will you be looking to purchase this Christmas? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below.

  • LEGO Jurassic World Rumoured January 2025 Sets | 76967 + 76969

With a total of nine sets reportedly releasing throughout the whole of 2025, the LEGO Jurassic World theme continues to go from strength to strength. 2024 saw the theme only release five sets but with a brand new film of Jurassic World Rebirth in July we expect plenty of brand new locations, brick-built dinosaurs and detailed Minifigures. However, only the summer sets for the Jurassic World theme will be based on the fourth instalment of the Jurassic World franchise. Instead, on the 1st of January 2025, we'll see two brand new Jurassic World models of 76967 and 76969. Both currently have no rumoured set name but with a reasonable price per piece count for both of the Winter 2025 sets who knows what they may be. Current rumours suggest that the larger of the two models, 76969 which retails for $44.99 with a total of 469 pieces, could be a brand new brick-built Dinosaur Fossil set. This years winter wave saw our first fossil build of 76964 Dinosaur Fossils: T. rex Skull which went down extremely well amongst fans young and old. Even though 76969 is more expensive by $5, LEGO may continue to expand its range of brick-built objects and dinosaurs for the LEGO Jurassic World theme rather than the previously more expensive moulded dinosaur pieces. This could be especially true as 76967 also has a very reasonable price per piece count retailing for only 317 pieces for $24.99. 76967 TBC Jurassic World Set Name - TBC Jurassic World Set Number - 76967 Age Range - 7+ Piece Count - 317 Price - $24.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 76969 TBC Jurassic World Set Name - TBC Jurassic World Set Number - 76969 Age Range - 9+ Piece Count - 469 Price - $44.99 / €TBC  / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 Both of the LEGO Jurassic World sets release on the 1st of January 2025 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing either of these sets in a few months time? What could these 2025 models be? Are you looking forward to Jurassic World Rebirth in July? • LEGO Speed Champions Rumoured March 2025 Sets | 10 Formula 1 Teams & Cars!

Last month LEGO announced a multi-year partnership with Formula 1 with next year being the year of brick-built F1 racing. We'll be seeing Formula 1-themed sets across a range of themes from LEGO Icons and Technic to Duplo and City. And now unsurprisingly we have confirmation that the LEGO Speed Champions theme will also be joining in with the F1 action when it has its first wave launch on the 1st of March 2025. This year we've already seen a surge in F1-themed sets with the LEGO Speed Champions theme in particular releasing 76919 2023 McLaren Formula 1 Race Car and 76925 Aston Martin Safety Car & AMR23. Both of those teams will be returning in LEGO form as all 10 of the Formula 1 teams will see their 2024 cars translated into separate LEGO Speed Champions sets. Each of the 10 teams will be in the usual eight-stud-wide form retailing for $26.99 / €26.99 / £20.99. The sets, which range between the set numbers 77242 and 77251, include around 250-260 pieces suggesting very similar builds apart from a few obvious differences such as the front wing and sidepod. As usual, each 10+ model will include a singular Minifigure, sadly not based on any of the official F1 drivers. 77242 Ferrari F1 Set Name - Ferrari F1 Set Number - 77242 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 275 Price - $26.99 / €26.99 / £20.99 Release Date - 1st March 2025 77243 Red Bull F1 Set Name - Red Bull F1 Set Number - 77243 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 251 Price - $26.99 / €26.99 / £20.99 Release Date - 1st March 2025 77244 Mercedes F1 Set Name - Mercedes F1 Set Number - 77244 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 267 Price - $26.99 / €26.99 / £20.99 Release Date - 1st March 2025 77245 Aston Martin Set Name - Aston Martin Set Number - 77245 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 269 Price - $26.99 / €26.99 / £20.99 Release Date - 1st March 2025 77246 Cash App RB F1 Set Name - Cash App RB F1 Set Number - 77246 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 248 Price - $26.99 / €26.99 / £20.99 Release Date - 1st March 2025 77247 Kick Sauber F1 Set Name - Kick Sauber F1 Set Number - 77247 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 259 Price - $26.99 / €26.99 / £20.99 Release Date - 1st March 2025 77248 Alpine F1 Set Name - Alpine F1 Set Number - 77248 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 258 Price - $26.99 / €26.99 / £20.99 Release Date - 1st March 2025 77249 Williams F1 Set Name - Williams F1 Set Number - 77249 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 263 Price - $26.99 / €26.99 / £20.99 Release Date - 1st March 2025 77250 Haas F1 Team Set Name - Haas F1 Team Set Number - 77250 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 242 Price - $26.99 / €26.99 / £20.99 Release Date - 1st March 2025 77251 McLaren F1 Team Set Name - McLaren F1 Team Set Number - 77251 Age Range - 10+ Piece Count - 269 Price - $26.99 / €26.99 / £20.99 Release Date - 1st March 2025 All 10 of these LEGO Speed Champions Formula 1 sets release on the 1st of March 2025 but what do you think? • LEGO Icons 40729 James Caird Boat GWP Rumoured For 29th November 2024

As October begins to draw to a close our attention turns to November and one of the biggest days of the year for any retailer: Black Friday. As usual, LEGO will be celebrating Black Friday as the start of the Christmas Shopping season with many discounts, double Insiders points and brand new LEGO sets and promotional items. This year's LEGO Black Friday model is the LEGO Icons branded set of 10335 The Endurance Ship. Along with the $260 historical Endurance ship, we'll be getting an 18+ Gift With Purchase of 40729 James Caird Boat. The Icons branded promotional set includes a total of 232 pieces and will be available with purchases of 10335 from the start of Black Friday weekend, the 29th of November 2024. The brick-built version of the James Caird looks to be Minifigure scale as reports claim that two Sailor Minifigures will be included. These will likely be generic LEGO Sailors rather than being based on one of the crew members. Either way, they'll be included along with the wooden vessel itself which was a very simple, open boat with limited supplies but a strong reinforced structure that will hopefully be translated into brick-built form. 40729 James Caird Boat Set Name - James Caird Boat Set Number - 40729 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 232 Price - GWP of 10335 The Endurance Ship Release Date - 29th November 2024 40729 James Caird Boat releases alongside 10335 The Endurance Ship on the 29th of November 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing both sets on Black Friday weekend? What other iconic ships and vehicles would you like to see from the LEGO Icons theme?
