  • LEGO Ideas 40698 Books Are My Passion GWP Officially Revealed | 28th October 2024

After yesterday's official reveal of 21353 The Botanical Garden, the LEGO Ideas theme will end 2024 with a total of nine brand new sets on shelves along with a brand new promotional item for the theme. In particular, this is 40698 Books Are My Passion which has been officially revealed today and will be available with the release of the beautiful Botanical Garden from the 28th of October 2024. The 18+ model will include 285 pieces and will be available with any purchases over $130. 40698 Books Are My Passion is the winning project of the Singles' Day competition back in 2023. The original idea by Fr_An is based on the brick builders' love for reading which has shone through perfectly in the final, official brick-built model by LEGO themselves. The basis of the set is a large bookshelf placed on a small black diorama display stand which altogether measures over 12 cm (5 inches) high, 9 cm (3.5 inches) wide and 9 cm (3.5 inches) deep. The bookshelf includes plenty of colourful books, all created using a variety of pieces and building techniques. A black ladder leans against the bookshelf allowing the single generic Minifigure included in the 18+ set to access all the books and the trunks and printed globe sat on top of the furniture. A smart wooden desk, a plant and a comfy armchair are also included in the small peaceful display scene. 40698 Books Are My Passion GWP Set Name - Books Are My Passion Set Number - 40698 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 285 Price - GWP over $130 Release Date - 28th October 2024 40698 Books Are My Passion GWP is available from the 28th of October 2024 but what do you think? • LEGO Ideas 21353 The Botanical Garden Officially Revealed | November 2024

After a leak just last week, LEGO has officially presented another D2C for 2024 as we slowly approach the release of the last few sets of an extremely exciting and successful year for the Danish toy makers. In particular, we have official pictures of the ninth and final LEGO Ideas model of 2024: 21353 The Botanical Garden. The November 2024 set will retail for $329.99 / €329.99 / £289.99 with a total of 3,792 pieces included. It's been less than a year since the Botanical Garden and Twilight: Cullen House were confirmed to be coming as official LEGO sets but the LEGO designers have been extremely busy preparing the brick-built Botanical Garden for a 4th of November 2024 release. Once it releases it'll become the largest LEGO Ideas set of 2024 in terms of piece count, beating Aprils 21348 - Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon's Tale. As the name suggests, 21353 is a beautiful recreation of a 19th century Botanical Garden structure in LEGO form, similar to the recent LEGO Friends Botanical Garden set of 41757 Botanical Garden but in a much bigger scale. In fact, 18+ indoor garden stretches across a total of two regular 32×32-stud LEGO baseplates measuring over 22 cm (8.5 inches) high, 51 cm (20 inches) wide and 25 cm (10 inches) deep. The brick-built Botanical Garden building is a fully glazed greenhouse with a neoclassical entrance facade that welcomes visitors inside. There you can find various botanical species in LEGO form including a banana tree, a palm and a Beaucarnea recurvata  in the central area, succulents plants in the left apse, various flowers in the right apse,  Anthurium ,  Strelitzia , Bamboo plants,  Stromanthe thalia ,  Caladium bicolor ,  Begonia Maculata ,  Codiaeum variegatum  e and many more along the garden's perimeter.    Even with this wide range of Minifigure scale botanical plants, the interior is very large with fully accessible open space expanding across these two baseplates. The large roof and the two small roofs on the left and right of the brick-built Botanical Garden can be removed individually to better explore the interior. In addition to this, individual walls can also be removed to provide better access to the different plant-filled rooms. Compared to the original submission by Goannas89, LEGO's official design seems to be slightly shorter, no longer stretching across two floors, but much wider. However, this still allows for a skylight roof and large open glass windows on the first floor which can all be easily removed, as already mentioned, for full playability. There is also a small balcony with spiral stairs for the Minifigures to look at the tallest plants in the garden. The original submission by Goannas89 also included over 3,000 pieces, eight Minifigures, plenty of accessories and a dog. LEGO has not only increased the piece count but also increased the number of Minifigures. A total of 12 Minifigures are included in 21353 The Botanical Garden: four members of staff (the manager, two gardeners and a barista), various visitors both young and old along with a dog, a squirrel, a bunny, a beetle and 4 moulded birds. 21353 The Botanical Garden Set Name - The Botanical Garden Set Number - 21353 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 3,792 Price - $329.99 / €329.99 / £289.99 Release Date - 4th November 2024 21353 Botanical Garden releases on the 4th of November 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 21353 in just over a weeks time? Are you looking forward to adding an 18+ Botanical Garden to your LEGO City? Do you already own the LEGO Friends Botanical Garden? • LEGO Classic Rumoured January 2025 Sets | 11039, 11041 + 11042

The start of a brand new year will mean the release of many, many LEGO sets including three more from the most classic of LEGO themes - LEGO Classic. It may not be as action packed as LEGO Marvel or LEGO Star Wars or as detailed as LEGO Icons for example but the LEGO Classic theme encourages plenty of creativity for younger brick builders and makes it easy and cheap to get important pieces for our own creations. A total of three LEGO Classic sets will be launching on the 1st of January 2025 with the cheapest of these being 11039 Creative Snack Building Fun. The 4+ model will retail for $9.99 with a total of 150 pieces included which will most likely be larger, and less intricate due to the targeted age range. The name suggests a collection of brick-built food snacks that are likely to be very simple yet colourful. The two other sets are slightly larger: 11041 Creative Dinosaurs includes 450 pieces for $34.99 and 11042 Creative Fun Box includes 680 pieces for $39.99. 11041 is fairly self explanatry as we can expect a collection of different brick built dinosaurs from a Tyrannosaurus Rex and a Triceratops to a Velociraptor and a Stegosaurus. Meanwhile, 11042 could be an all manner of different brick-built fun but that's the joy of the LEGO Classic line of sets... 11039 Creative Snack Building Fun Set Name - Creative Snack Building Fun Set Number - 11039 Age Range - 4+ Piece Count - 150 Price - $9.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 11041 Creative Dinosaurs Set Name - Creative Dinosaurs Set Number - 11041 Age Range - 5+ Piece Count - 450 Price - $34.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 11042 Creative Fun Box Set Name - Creative Fun Box Set Number - 11042 Age Range - 5+ Piece Count - 680 Price - $39.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 All three of these LEGO Classic sets launch on the 1st of January 2025 but what do you think? • LEGO Icons 10363 Da Vinci's Flying Machine Rumoured For January 2025

After the release of 31213 Mona Lisa early this month, in 2025 Leonardo da Vinci will be getting another one of his creations in brick-built LEGO form. In particular, it'll be a brand new LEGO Icons set of 10363 Da Vinci's Flying Machine. The 18+ model will retail for $59.99 / €59.99 / £54.99 with a total of 493 pieces once it releases on the 1st of January 2025 alongside plenty more LEGO Icons sets. Da Vinci was not only a painter, but also a draughtsman, engineer, scientist, theorist, sculptor, and architect. The Italian was a man of many talents and around 1485 he took on the challenge of creating his own Flying Machine. Being inspired by the fight of birds, Da Vinci created many designs for his best machine yet but never resulted in a fully functional model, mainly because it relied on human muscle power to move the wings and generate enough lift. Hundreds of years later and 10363 Da Vinci's Flying Machine will replicate Da Vinci's design for a flying machine in brick-built LEGO form. The 18+ model includes an expertly built-mechanism that enables the wings to move. The wings will most likely be white and could be either a specialised fabric piece or brick-built. Either way, they'll be attached to the thin wooden structure of the flying machine. All of this will then be placed on an 18+ black stand to easily display the Flying Machine. A single Minifigure can also be placed in front of the black stand of an exclusive version of Da Vinci himself. He'll likely also include a simple accessory but we'd love a printed Minifigure version of Mona Lisa. An information plaque may also be included, similar to some of the most iconic vehicles and vessels seen throughout the LEGO Icons theme. 10363 Da Vinci's Flying Machine Set Name - Da Vinci's Flying Machine Set Number - 10363 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 493 Price - $59.99 / €59.99 / £54.99 Release Date - 1st January 2025 10363 Da Vinci's Flying Machine releases on the 1st of January 2025 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 10363 in a few months time? What is your favourite part of the set: the flying mechanism or the LEGO Minifigure of Da Vinci? What other historic figures and inventions would you like to see in brick-built LEGO form? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

  • LEGO Marvel 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion Officially Revealed | November 2024

After yesterday's leak, LEGO has finally officially revealed the biggest LEGO Marvel set of the year and one of the most anticipated LEGO sets of 2024. After the huge success of 76269 Avengers Tower, this year, LEGO is releasing an 18+ version of the X-Men Mansion, which will be available in just a few weeks on November 4th, 2024. 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion includes a total of 3,093 pieces for a retail price of $329.99 / €329.99 / £289.99. Avid LEGO fans will know that a brand new D2C of the X-Men Mansion has been known about since February 2023 with the infamous survey leak. That original model included 3,122 pieces and the official images show just how busy the LEGO designers have been to make such an incredible play and display model. For those who don't know, the X-Men Mansion - or the Xavier's Insitute - is the school Charles Xavier created to train young mutants and is also the secret base for the X-Men. With that over 3,000 piece count, 76294 will become the biggest X-Men set in LEGO form with the build measuring over 27 cm (10.5 inches) high, 40 cm (16 inches) wide and 25 cm (10 inches) deep. The giant brick-built X-Men Mansion is mainly reddish brown as its main colour scheme with plenty of masonry bricks also included in the buildings architecture. The Mansion is spread across two storeys with a full and extremely detailed interior which sits across a 48x32 stud baseplate - similar to this year's epic modular building of 10326 Natural History Museum. The 18+ model also includes Technic pin holes allowing a modular connection as it expands across two ordinary LEGO baseplates. The Mansion itself is set back a little from the front of the baseplate allowing a small section of the street below and plenty of action poses from our Minifigures. As we already mentioned, the building spans across two floors and continues that reddish brown, masonry architecture mixed in with the brown windows and the iconic white balcony. Above all of this is a smooth dark blue roof and the iconic white dome which Magneto can blow apart. To allow even further access to the extremely detailed and easter egg-packed interior, 76294 X-MEN: X-Mansion can be split into three parts. Each of the three sections can then be split into thirds again allowing access to the two different floors and the play-packed interior. Here we can find Professor X's laboratory including Cerebro, a classroom from the mutant school with a few screens and a bookshelf, Wolverine's bedroom and another bedroom for the students, the library, the lobby and the Danger Room training facility. Here students can train and face different brick-built traps with the room also containing walls and elements that can be reconfigured, removed and replaced. At the front of Xavier's School For Gifted Youngsters, there's a gate build along with a side build of a large purple and pink Sentinel. Next to the robot build, we can stand our ten Minifigures which are also included in the $330 build. These are Wolverine with a blue motorbike, a new Gambit, Storm with a new hairpiece, Magneto with a purple cape, Cyclops, a new version of Jean Grey, Iceman, Bishop and Professor Xavier in his iconic brick-built chair, and finally a reused version of Rogue. 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion Set Name - X-Men: The X-Mansion Set Number - 76294 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 3,093 Price - $329.99 / €329.99 / £289.99 Release Date - 4th November 2024 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion releases on the 4th of November 2024 but what do you think? Avid LEGO fans will know that a brand new D2C of the X-Men Mansion has been known about since February 2023 with the infamous survey leak. • LEGO Icons The Lord Of The Rings: The Shire Rumoured For 2025

Ever since the launch of 10333 The Lord Of The Rings: Barad-Dûr earlier in June, everyone has been wondering whether LEGO will continue with its very recent tradition of releasing a brand new LEGO Icons Lord Of The Rings set each year. This first started with 10316 The Lord Of The Rings: Rivendell and obviously continued with a brick bult version of Sauron's fortress in Mordor. But now, as we continue to learn of more and more rumoured sets for 2025, will we be getting another LEGO Lord Of The Rings D2C? The answer is unsurprisingly yes as both of the previous LEGO Icons LOTR models have gone down extremely well. In fact, just those two sets of 10316 The Lord Of The Rings: Rivendell and 10333 The Lord Of The Rings: Barad-Dûr have been popular enough to outshine many of LEGO's existing themes. The Shire is the idyllic homeland of the Hobbits in J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit and according to Instagram user TandNBricks will be appearing in brick-built form at some point in 2025. The last LEGO set to tackle part of the Shire was 2012s 79003 An Unexpected Gathering which recreated the iconic underground dwelling of the Hobbits Bilbo and Frodo Baggins, Bag End, out of LEGO bricks. The upcoming LEGO Icons model will most likely focus on Bag End as it is one of, if not the most iconic location in Tolkien's middle-earth world. With a reported price of around $299.99 to $349.99, we can expect an extremely detailed set featuring the iconic round green door, cosy Hobbit interiors like Bilbo’s study and kitchen, lush gardens, and minifigures like Frodo, Bilbo, and Gandalf. Alternatively, LEGO may focus on the whole of the Shire and the homeland of the Hobbits. Other iconic Hobbiton landmarks beyond Bag End, may be included such as Hobbit-holes, the Party Tree with decorations from Bilbo's birthday, the Green Dragon Inn, bridges, winding paths, and lush landscaping filled with plants and flowers. Minifigures of beloved characters like Sam, Merry, Pippin, and Rosie Cotton will hopefully also make an appearance in what will be another exciting, detailed and Minifigure-packed 18+ model. • LEGO Minifigures 71049 CMF Formula 1 Series Rumoured For May 2025

It's already been confirmed that 2025 will be the year of LEGO and Formula 1 as both global brands have entered into a multi-year partnership. The partnership will consist of a range of sets from an even wider range of themes such as LEGO City, Duplo, Icon, Speed Champions, Technic and many more. And new rumours suggest that one of these themes may be LEGO Minifigures... Just this year we saw the LEGO Minifigures theme partake in LEGO's epic year of Space with the release of 71046 Series 26 Space. Exactly a year later on the 1st of May 2025, we'll reportedly see 71049 CMF Formula 1 Series race onto shelves with the official F1 logo and branding. The second LEGO Minifigures series of 2025, after 71048 Series 27 in January, will retail for the usual price of $4.99 / €3.99 / £3.49 in the scanable blind boxes. According to current rumours from Instagram user palnet, 71049 will not consist of full Minifigures and be instead similar to the old LEGO Racers theme from 2002. Each figure will have a buildable F1 car with Minifigure heads and helmets attached. Rumours also indicate that each of the current 10 Formula 1 teams will be represented - resulting in only 10 Minifigures included in the series rather than the usual 12. Whether these rumours actually appear to be true is currently unknown but we can confirm that 71049 is an F1-themed Minifigure series. Licenses for each of the current 20 F1 drivers will likely be hard to come by and therefore LEGO has focused more on small brick-built cars for each team rather than recreating a brick-built form of each driver. 71049 CMF Formula 1 Series Set Name - CMF Formula 1 Series Set Number - 71049 Age Range - 5+ Piece Count - TBC Price - $4.99 / €3.99 / £3.49 Release Date - 1st May 2025 71049 CMF Formula 1 Series releases on the 1st of May 2025 but what do you think? • First Leaked Images of LEGO Ideas 21353 Botanical Garden | November 2024

Only a handful of sets remain for 2024 and we're getting ever closer to the release of one of these LEGO models thanks to a leak from LEGO themselves. Earlier today the official LEGO shop@home gave us our first glimpse of the ninth and final LEGO Ideas model of 2024: 21353 Botanical Garden. The November 2024 set will retail for $329.99 / €329.99 / £279.99 with a total of 3,792 pieces included. It's been less than a year since the Botanical Garden and Twilight: Cullen House were confirmed to be coming as official LEGO sets but the LEGO designers have been extremely busy preparing the brick-built Botanical Garden for a 1st of November 2024 release. Once it releases it'll become the largest LEGO Ideas set of 2024 in terms of piece count, beating Aprils 21348 - Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon's Tale. As the name suggests, 21353 is a beautiful recreation of a Botanical Garden in LEGO form, similar to the recent LEGO Friends Botanical Garden set of 41757 Botanical Garden but in a much bigger scale. In fact, the first leaked images of the set show that the 18+ indoor garden stretches across a total of two regular 32×32-stud LEGO baseplates. Even with this wide range of Minifigure scale botanical plants, the interior is very large with fully accessible open space expanding across these two baeplates. Compared to the original submission by Goannas89, LEGO's official design seems to be slightly shorter, no longer stretching across two floors, but much wider. However, this still allows for a skylight roof and large open glass windows on the first floor which can all be easily removed for full playability.  The original submission by Goannas89 also included over 3,000 pieces, eight Minifigures, plenty of accessories and a dog. LEGO has not only increased the piece count but also increased the number of Minifigures. From the leaked image and current rumours, a total of 12 figures will be included along with a moulded dog. The biggest game-changer however will be whether or not this 18+ model is modular compatible which we'll only find out when 21353 is officially revealed very soon... 21353 Botanical Garden Set Name - Botanical Garden Set Number - 21353 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 3,792 Price - $329.99 / €329.99 / £279.99 Release Date - 1st November 2024 21353 Botanical Garden releases on the 1st of November 2024 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 21353 in just a couple of weeks time? Are you looking forward to adding an 18+ Botanical Garden to your LEGO City? Do you already own the LEGO Friends Botanical Garden? LEGO has found the sweet spot for appealing to adults with the highly popular LEGO Icons subtheme of the Botanical Collection. In 2025 we will once again see a range of brick-built plants hit shelves after a record-breaking year for the Botanical Collection line of sets. A total of three Botanical sets will launch on the 1st of January 2025 of 10342 Pretty Pink Flower Bouquet, 10343 Mini Orchid and 10344 Lucky Bamboo. 10342 Pretty Pink Flower Bouquet The largest set of the three releasing next year is another brand new Bouquet of 10342 Pretty Pink Flower Bouquet. This time however the $50 set will focus on several flowers which all have brightly coloured pink blossoms. These types of flowers could include Peonies, Roses, Pink Daises and Tuilips all with a dark green stem and foliage to make a lovely contrast of colours and tones of pink. Two out of the four plants appeared in brick built form in August with 10368 Chrysanthemum and 10369 Plum Blossom. On the 1st of January 2025, LEGO will be adding to the quartet with a brick-built Mini Orchid retailing for $29.99 / €29.99 / £24.99 with a total of 274 pieces. • LEGO Icons 10359 Spanish Garden Rumoured For January 2025

A new LEGO Icons subtheme is reportedly coming in 2025, building on the success of the already existing LEGO Icons Botanical Collection line of sets. This new subtheme for the LEGO Icons series, reportedly named 'Gardens of the World' according to bricktastic.nl , is inspired by world-famous gardens. Each brick-built garden will be easily recognizable by its unique and distinctive features and climate from the respective country. The new subtheme sounds similar to a previous LEGO Icons model of 2023s 10315 Tranquil Garden which recreates a traditional colourful Japanese garden on a black stand. However, in 2025 to kick off this brand new subtheme we'll be travelling to a completely different continent with 10359 Spanish Garden. The 18+ model includes 1,302 pieces for a $99.99 / €99.99 / £89.99 retail price once it is released on the 1st of January 2025. 10359 Spanish Garden will beautifully recreate a peaceful Spanish garden complete with Mediterranean architecture, typical of Español gardens. The focal point of the 18+ set is a fountain, surrounded by brick-built plants, hedges, trees and columns. The detailed stone arches included in 10359, with terracotta roof tiles and green elements such as trees and colourful flowers, give the set an authentic southern feel. The structure is mainly composed of green, white and earthy tones for a very warm feeling colour scheme. Current rumours suggest that no Minifigures will be included in 10359 Spanish Garden but it will be in Minifigure scale. Once again this is very similar to 2023s 10315 Tranquil Garden which includes just over 60 pieces more than 10359. We also expect the 2025 model to be included on some form of black 18+ stand/base - another similarity with the Japanese style build from last year. 10359 Spanish Garden Set Name - Spanish Garden Set Number - 10359 Age Range - 18+ Piece Count - 1,302 Price - $99.99 / €99.99 / £89.99 Release Date - 1st January 2025 10359 Spanish Garden releases on the 1st of January 2025 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 10359 in a few months time? Do you like the idea of this brand-new LEGO Icons subtheme? What other gardens from around the world do you want to see in brick-built LEGO form? • LEGO 40696 Bakery GWP Officially Revealed | 15th October 2024

Our fourth and final LEGO Shops of the World Gift With Purchase has been officially revealed to add to October's ever-growing lineup of GWPs. This brand new promotional item is 40696 Bakery which includes 376 pieces to recreate a microscale Bakery shop. The 12+ model will be available in just a few day's time on the 15th of October 2024 and will most likely last around a week even though this is currently unconfirmed. Just like the previous three LEGO Shops of the World of 40680, 40684 and 40692, 40696 Bakery will be available with any purchases over $200. The October Gift With Purchase contains 376 pieces to create a microscale shop which expands across two floors. Being microscale, no Minifigures are included and neither are any extra stickers to allow further customization as seen in previous GWPs from this mini-series. The exterior of the Bakery feels very stereotypical of this type of store, with a tan colour scheme complete with a couple of masonry bricks. Some red and green hangovers are also included, along with a sign above and next to the shop's door. A croissant also sits just above the door to further signify that it's a bakery, along with several festive decorations of those red and green hangovers, hints of snow, and a wreath. Inside, the Bakery is spread across two floors with interesting and tasty treats available for our microscale customers. The clear counter shows plenty of savoury and sweet treats with some large cupcakes and further areas of display are also included on the bottom floor. Meanwhile, on the second floor, there's a seating area complete with comfy sofas and abstract art on the wall. 40696 Bakery GWP Set Name - Bakery GWP Set Number - 40696 Age Range - 12+ Piece Count - 376 Price - GWP over $200 Release Date - 15th October 2024 40696 Bakery GWP is available beginning the 15th of October 2024 for purchases over $200 but what do you think? • LEGO Friends Rumoured January 2025 Sets | Guinea Pig Playground, Airport, Beekeeper's House, Candy Store + More

With 2025 just around the corner, LEGO Friends and minidoll fans have some exciting new sets rumoured for a 1st of January 2025 release date. In total, two polybags and 18 playsets are rumoured to be hitting shelves on this busy release date followed by another action-packed wave in the summer. Currently, only set numbers and names are rumoured, with only a couple of models including piece counts so we can't speculate too much on what will be included in each of 18 sets. However, with the information we know so far we're interested in mainly three sets: 42656 Heartlake City Airport And Airplane, 42669 Beekeepers House And Flower Garden and 42670 Heartlake City Apartments And Stores. The first of these that we're putting under the spotlight, 42656 Heartlake City Airport And Airplane, is the only one of the three not to have a rumoured piece count. However, being the first LEGO Friends Airport since 2015's 41109 Heartlake Aiport, we expect a substantial upgrade with another colourful airplane along with a hopefully expanded airport. Features like a terminal and a boarding area would make it the most immersive LEGO Aiport set yet. 42669 Beekeepers House And Flower Garden sounds like your stereotypical LEGO Friends set coming in with around 300 to 500 pieces. But in reality, the 2025 model includes over 1,000 elements with a piece count of 1,161. The extremely detailed nature-themed build will likely be another beautifully crafted model from the LEGO Friends theme, raising awareness for bees yet being a perfect and unique addition to a LEGO city. Last but not least is 42670 Heartlake City Apartments And Stores - currently the biggest set on this list with a total of 2,040 pieces. On paper, this sounds like a set on the same scale and template as both 41704 Main Street Building and 41732 Downtown Flower and Design Stores which included 1,682 pieces and 2,010 pieces respectively. 2025s 42670 will likely combine the busy shopping life with a more relaxing residential life with highly detailed and imaginative flats. Heartlake City Apartments And Stores will, like the rest of the 17 sets releasing on the 1st of January 2025, be minidoll heavy featuring the main Friends of the freshly rebooted theme. • 2 LEGO Disney Moana 2 Sets Officially Revealed For January 2025 | 43260 + 43270

With Disney releasing a brand new trailer for their next blockbuster of the upcoming Moana 2 film, LEGO has officially revealed their merchandise to tie into the second instalment of Moana's adventures. A total of two sets will be released on the 1st of January 2025 branded under Moana 2 - 43260 Moana's Island Fun and 43270 Moana’s Adventure Canoe which were both leaked online just over a week ago. However, today's official presentation has given us a better glimpse of the Disney Princess-themed models that include highly detailed, play-heavy builds with new and exclusive minidolls and microdolls. 43260 Moana's Island Fun The first of these two LEGO Disney models is 43260 Moana's Island Fun which retails for $19.99 / €19.99 / £17.99 and includes 175 pieces. Unlike the next set of 43270, Moana's Island Fun doesn't directly tie into a scene from the movie and instead creates a brick-built Moana-themed microworld. This is complete with two microdolls of Moana and little sister Simea along with Pua the pig. The microworld set includes two main builds that are connected via hinge connections and can therefore easily be closed and reopened. One build is Moana's home island and village whilst the other build is a much more exotic landscape of the island of Motunui. The island of Motunui has a waterfall slide with a hidden entrance and Moana's house has rooms for both her and her little sister Simea. Set Name - Moana's Island Fun Set Number - 43260 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - 175 Price - $19.99 / €19.99 / £17.99 Release Date - 1st January 2025 43270 Moana’s Adventure Canoe 43270 Moana’s Adventure Canoe is likely to be the more popular of the two LEGO Moana 2 models even if it is more expensive at $59.99 / €59.99 / £54.99 for a total of 529 pieces. All three minidolls included in 43270 are exclusive with an updated version of Moana, Loto the shipbuilder and Moni the oarsman. Pua is also included in 43270 just like in 43260 in that exact same pig model. As the name suggests, the main build and only build of the set is Moana’s Adventure Canoe which LEGO has tackled in previous years but 2025s version is the biggest and best yet. The highly detailed double-hulled canoe features a printed textile sail, a rope lei hulu to find the wind direction and a small campfire. The canoe also has a removable top deck with a fairly spacious living space below allowing our three minidolls and pig space to sleep on and below deck. Set Name - Moana’s Adventure Canoe Set Number - 43270 Age Range - 6+ Piece Count - 529 Price - $59.99 / €59.99 / £54.99 Release Date - 1st January 2025 Both of these LEGO Disney Moana 2 sets launch on the 1st of January 2025 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing 43260 or 43270 in a few months time? Which is your favourite of the two Moana 2 sets? What other brick-built LEGO Moana sets would you like to see release in 2025? • LEGO Creator 3in1 Rumoured January 2025 Sets | Race Plane, Green Dragon, Panda Family, Typewriter + More

Known for its good value and versatile designs, the LEGO Creator 3in1 theme continues to play a big part in LEGO's continued global success. In 2025, the theme will once again be offering a variety of creative builds with each model including three distinct builds in just one set. A total of eight sets will be released on the 1st of January 2025 under the Creator 3in1 brand, with the most expensive of these retailing for only $60. 31159 Wild Animals: Surprise Spider The smallest set of the wave is 31159 Wild Animals: Surprise Spider which for $12.99 includes a total of 153 pieces. 31159 is the first of two sets on this list to begin with 'Wild Animals' suggesting a possible new subtheme for LEGO Creator 3in1. The main build will unsurprisingly be a brick-built Spider with the two alternative builds containing the 'surprise' element of the set and possibly being a tree frog or a praying mantis for example. Set Name - Wild Animals: Surprise Spider Set Number - 31159 Ages Range - 6+ Piece Count - 153 Price - $12.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 31160 Race Plane Along with brick-built animals, brick-built vehicles are another staple idea in the LEGO Creator 3in1 theme. 31160 Race Plane continues this trend with the 6+ model retailing for $19.99 with a total of 178 pieces included. We expect a mean and fast-looking plane and a cool paint job that can be transferred to the two other builds that are likely also aviation or vehicle-based. Set Name - Race Plane Set Number - 31160 Ages Range - 6+ Piece Count - 178 Price - $19.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 31161 Green Dragon 31161 Green Dragon is the largest set of this Winter 2025 wave retailing for $59.99 with a total of 715 pieces. It wasn't long ago since we last had a dragon from the LEGO Creator 3in1 theme of 31145 Red Dragon. Expect 2025s to be much bigger and less cartoon-like than 31145 which had large eyes and a mix of red, blue and yellow to create its fun character and build. Set Name - Green Dragon Set Number - 31161 Ages Range - 8+ Piece Count - 715 Price - $59.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 31162 Rabbit Just like the previous set, brick-built rabbits are also fairly common in the LEGO Creator 3in1 theme with the last one being 31133 White Rabbit. 2025s Rabbit of 31162 includes a few more pieces at 326 retailing for the exact same price of $19.99. This suggests a very similar build with the main difference likely being the colour and a couple of the many play features such as its moveable parts and overall cute look. Set Name - Rabbit Set Number - 31162 Ages Range - 6+ Piece Count - 326 Price - $19.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 31163 Grey Cat This year we saw our largest LEGO Cat of the LEGO Ideas model 21349 Tuxedo Cat. In 2025, the LEGO Creator 3in1 theme will be releasing a much smaller brick-built cat of 31163 Grey Cat. The build will be a lot smaller and simpler, including more cartoon-like features which some of the smaller Creator 3in1 sets are extremely good at grasping. The two alternative builds will likely be more grey-coloured pets and animals. Set Name - Grey Cat Set Number - 31163 Ages Range - 7+ Piece Count - 407 Price - $24.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 31164 Space Robot 2024 may have been the year for LEGO and space but 31164 Space Robot continues the surge in intergalactic themed models. The 6+ model includes a total of 281 pieces retailing for $24.99 and could have endless possibilities for its design. Alternatives to the main build could include a space rover or a mini spaceship. Set Name - Space Robot Set Number - 31164 Ages Range - 6+ Piece Count - 281 Price - $24.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 31165 Wild Animals: Panda Family 31165 is our second LEGO Creator 3in1 set launching on the 1st of January 2024 to include the words 'Wild Animals' in its name. However, this time the $37 set focuses on a family of Pandas. We imagine the sets 626 pieces are used to create a brick-built mother panda alongside her cub and some bamboo for them to enjoy. Other animal families may be included as the two alternative builds. Set Name - Wild Animals: Panda Family Set Number - 31165 Ages Range - 7+ Piece Count - 626 Price - $36.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 31169 Typewriter With Flowers Last but not least we have 31169 Typewriter With Flowers which for $29.99 includes a total of 363 pieces. The Creator 3in1 model is  much smaller and more affordable than the LEGO Ideas version of the 21327 Typewriter and comes in a lovely pink colour along with those brick-built decorative flowers. Like many of these LEGO Creator 3in1 sets, 31169s alternative builds could be literally anything. Set Name - Typewriter With Flowers Set Number - 31169 Ages Range - 7+ Piece Count - 363 Price - $29.99 / €TBC / £TBC Release Date - 1st January 2025 All eight of these LEGO Creator 3in1 sets launch on the 1st of January 2025 but what do you think? Will you be purchasing any of these sets in a few months time? Which is your favourite and least favourite set of the wave? What sets do you want to see in the themes Summer 2025 wave? • LEGO Sonic The Hedgehog 77002 Cyclone vs. Metal Sonic Officially Revealed | January 2025

After the official reveal of both 77001 Sonic's Campfire Clash and 77003 Super Shadow vs. Biolizard just over a week ago, we now have official images of the third and final LEGO Sonic The Hedgehog set launching on the 1st of January 2025. In particular, this is 77002 Cyclone vs. Metal Sonic which is the middle valued set of the value retailing for $34.99 / €34.99 / £29.99 with a total of 290 pieces included. The main selling point of the 8+ model will be its Minifigure selection because, as the name suggests, we are getting an exclusive character of Metal Sonic. He's included in Minifigure form along with Tails who includes a brand new facial expression. The Cyclone, a transforming vehicle created by Tails, is the main and only build of 77002. It is mainly coloured yellow, blue, and grey and has enough space for a single Minifigure of Tails to control the brick-built Cyclone and defeat Metal Sonic. The mech-like build comes with a cockpit, posable legs, a turret with stud shooter and a hidden Chaos Emerald. The Cyclone can also convert from walking to flying mode by folding and rotating its legs forwards. 77002 Cyclone vs. Metal Sonic Set Name - Cyclone vs. Metal Sonic Set Number - 77002 Ages - 8+ Piece Count - 290 Price - $34.99 / €34.99 / £29.99 Release Date - 1st January 2025 77002 Cyclone vs. Metal Sonic launches on the 1st of January 2025 alongside two already revealed LEGO Sonic The Hedgehog sets but what do you think?
